so here is the KMC paper truck which i got to film on a very cold and early Monday morning. not too much to say about this truck, just your normal SPAK Raptor II mounted on an Iveco Acco chasis.
huge thanks to the awesome driver behind the wheel! i hope you and the driver enjoys the video.

Awesome video Robin, good to see some more Ku Ring Gai action on RU-vid and you managed to get one of the new additions, im sure theres a second truck identical to this one you videoed might even be a third. What was the go with that bin that he drove past at 8:34 ? Just managed to grab that bin at 5:30, thats the only problem with these Series 2 Raptors is the short slide/reach lucky hes picking up in Ku Ring Gai where theres a lot of wide and open streets !

AussieGarbo67 cheers mate! I've seen the second truck on the way back from Ryde when I filmed you! Don't know about a third though. The bin he drive past was empty, part of the run the he'd already been earlier. Yeah SPAK really needs to make their slides a lot more bigger! Very small reaches these trucks.

Sweet as mate, I see these newer KRG trucks on the road everyday when I go to Kimbriki, but never seen them in action. I can see this truck goes alright, lifter moves at an alright pace. I'm sure this thing gets up some of those hills in that council pretty easily too, full of roar in some of those clips =] With these older Raptors, bins like those at 5:30 you wonder if you're going to just manage to grab it or if you're going to just miss it haha I've been questioning lately if there are actually two of these particular trucks in KRG, just because I recently saw a truck with a cracked visor, then no visor and next a full visor... not sure if it's the same truck or two trucks kinda thing. Neat to see a bit more variety in KRG with these additions anyway, I'm sure any of the original drivers who spent time in the older trucks for 10 years really appreciate the updated stuff. Apparently more new trucks on the way towards the end of the year to replace the leftover oldies, interested to see what they'll use for greens ey.

AussieGarbo cheers! Thought you filmed one already? Or was that one of the raised hopper trucks? Yeah you can hear the roar when they go up some of those hills! Yeah the older SPAKS have horrible range when it comes to far bins! I think they have two, saw one when I came back from Ryde but I'm not sure if it was the same truck, had no visor. Try and see if you can read the fleet number? Yeah I had a look at the inside of the bottles truck cause the driver let me operate the truck ;) which was from the original fleet and the interior was fucked! I'm excited to see the new trucks, wonder where they'll come from.

Terrific video Robin. Your camera work is excellent, really tidy and the editing was spot on! The truck itself sounded really nice, I'm beating the drivers are preferring them to the old beat up Raptors. I'm guessing this truck came second hand from Cleanaway over in WA. Nice work m8.

cheers mate, didn't you notice all the squeaking from my tripod and shaking? yeah all the old trucks are rooted haha. pretty sure this came from WA not too sure.
