In Malaysia, particularly the Klang valey area Malls are not just for shopping, there are many activities and facilities available. in some big malls, there are hotels, clinics, educational centres, exhibition centres, art & craft centres, ice skating, roller skating, Performing art centres, skydiving, cliff climbing, recycling centres, restaurant which can hold wedding banquets and various service centres etc. e.g. The KLCC Suria has a philharmonic concert hall ,planetorium, science centre and a international convention centre. In many residential areas, the malls are like a community centre.

Malls in SE Asia are just as much about being a social place (many closing 10pm at the earliest) and a cool place to escape the climate, as they are about shopping.

The 2 biggest/latest mrt lines cross below the mall, so its very accessible to people in the klang valley because those 2 mrt lines go deep into the suburbs so that explains the massive crowd. Actually you can just take the mrt from bukit bintang to trx its just one stafion. Besides that the rooftop park is pretty cool, and many new brands debuting here like Seibu (japanese dept store),a few luxury brands im not familiar with, undefeated (japanese streetwear store), bens cookies, gentle monster (hyped korean sunglasses shop) and my all time favourite shake shack!!😅

You don’t have to take longer route to The Exchange TRX from Lot 10. Actually from Lot 10 (Zara) you walk straight to Uniqlo in Fahrenheit88 and turn to the right as if you are walking towards Jalan Imbi. Once you at the junction of Jalan Imbi traffic light (a church is on your left), from that spot you could see already The TRX Raintree Plaza…just walk straight (3min) till you see big signboard BALENCIAGA and PRADA…that is The Exchange TRX 😎 Merry Christmas to you 🎁🎄☃️❄️

There are 2 mrt lines underneath the mall. About 4 stops from one of the line will lead you Raja Uda station which is just on the main road where you pass by while heading to/from the roti canai place you guys went, hence you can just walk back to your Airbnb from there

TRX mall is managed by Lendlease a global company from Australia 🇦🇺 & its company mission is Places For Everyone! What a coincidence 😎 BTW TRX MRT Station (mall) is just one stop away from Bukit Bintang MRT Station (Lot 10)

You could have used the subway train (MRT) from Bukit Bintang to TRX. No need to walk and don't have to get wet when it rains

actually kuala lumpur consider has much much lesser mall compare with manila with quite an equal population. kl only have 90 malls and manila has over 600 malls omg. filipinos really into malls so much

Despite the fact that multiple big and moden new malls debuted previous to TRX, including the world's second largest, 101 Putrajaya, and Jalil Hill Pavilion. Pavillion Damansara and Lalaport (Japanese Mall), but Mall TRX was favorable.

18:34 TRX is the interchange station for the 2 MRT lines - bearing its full name is Tun Razak Exchange (TRX). It's also just one stop away from Bukit Bintang (Kajang Line - Green). You missed the Apple Store iconic roof structure at the rooftop park of the mall..slated to be open in February
