Thanks buddy! Love to hear it. Kubota truely makes beasts of machines and the little BX is no acception! With a proper operator in the seat there is no limit to what you can accomplish!

Great seeing you back on the BX Mike. Those forks work really well moving those big wood rounds, man they were huge. You can do more on a BX with your mad skills than pretty much anyone. Keep it coming. Steve

Thanks Steve! Really appericate the kind words man. I hope to take you guys along on my next job as well which will hopefully work the old girl just as hard. Working a tractor hard is like heaven for me :p

As a fellow BX owner...I approve of the cool black exhaust smoke while you were lifting that first big log !! Nice work !
@BiffsEquipment
@BiffsEquipment 2 месяца назад
Haha, right on! Its an absolute travasty that they stopped putting exhaust stacks on modern sub compact, compact and even most utility tractors.. although I know why they did it.. it still sucks. I always said there should be an option when buying a tractor weather you want it with a factory exhaust stack or not. I like it cuz it lets me know exactly whats going on with my engine at a glance and isnt hidden. Thanks for watching!@

Nice job! It looks great! Thank you for showing your project and how well your Kubota BX works. I have a Kubota BX 23s and I'm impressed every time I use it with what I can accomplish in a short amount of time. I shimmed mine to 2000 psi after watching how you increased yours and it made a noticeable difference.
@BiffsEquipment
@BiffsEquipment 2 месяца назад
Thanks buddy! Always lad to hear when my pressure increase videos are helping people get more out of their tractors and also talking about the safety side of it as well. Brining the bx to 2000+ really makes a drastic difference in lift capacity.. I think 2,000 is a good number for most. Last I checked mine was at 2,450.. though I should make a video checking it again cuz im sure its drifted down a bit over the years.
@redmonna

@@BiffsEquipment That would be interesting if you rechecked yours. I think I could safely increase mine up to 2400 like yours. It makes me feel better you haven’t experienced any hydronic fluid leaks. With the backhoe on the back, loaded tires, and 2” wheel spacers my BX feels stable.

@@BiffsEquipmentI did see that video. Where I discovered your channel was where Neal messick did the video on turning up the hydraulic pressure and put a link to your channel. What Neal doesn’t know is you also turned the fuel pressure up also. It just amazes me how far you push the little tractor passed it limits and it just keeps given. Enjoy all your videos!

Thanks Troy for the thoughtful comment! I think what happened was when I built my pole barn the video subject changed from tractor building to garage building which affected the way youtube showed my videos.. Then it didnt help that I was gone for almost a year after the garage was finished with just a few videos here and there. Glad you found me again and hope youll catch up on what you've missed!

Should take off mower deck when doing stuff like this, so you got better ground Clerance and catch thing that could hurt it.
@BiffsEquipment
@BiffsEquipment 13 дней назад
Hi Eddy! Yes I should have.. but I get lazy taking the mower deck off now because I no longer need to remove it to take my tractor on jobs since I have a wide enough trailer now.. so I usually just keep the deck on but it does take a beating on jobs like this. It should be removed but I just never feel like doing it haha.

This question is from an old video of yours. Where is the fuel screw on a zd1211? It definatley could use 5 to 10 hp
@BiffsEquipment
@BiffsEquipment Месяц назад
So the fuel screw is normally the one which a wire going through it.. it will be a bolt with a tiny hole drilled through the hex with a wire going through it in most cases to keep people from turning or adjusting it. Not sure which direction you’ll need to turn it but you should be able to find info online about that.. or just turn it one way a little at a time and do a hard rev with the motor to see if you see any black smoke out that exhaust.. once you start seeing it smoke more and more black out thr exhaust on a quick rev then you’ll know your going the right direction.. just be sure to count how many turns you are taking that way if you need to bring it back to where it was you can. Hope this helps!

Biff- love the video and content per usual. What is it that you’ve got on the back of the tractor that adds weight? I find that using my FEL sometimes is stalled because I don’t have enough weight from the rear to power through. Would love any ideas.
@BiffsEquipment
@BiffsEquipment 13 дней назад
Hey Cameron, so I use a “farm EX” quick hitch in the rear of my tractor with a custom made weight bracket.. you can buy the same type of weight bracket online tho just search “3 point hitch weight bracket”. You can also go to “heavyhitch.com and buy one from them but they are expensive. As for the weights I use mainly John Deere 42lb suitcase weights that are cheapest to buy from Home Depot. Go on Home Depot.com and search “John Deere suitcase weight” or John Deere 42lb weight” ..once you find them you can have them shipped for free to any store which saves you hundreds on shipping and then you just pay for the weights themselves when you get there. If you buy them from anywhere else online you have to pay shipping costs and it’s expensive. I run 8x 42lb weights but that’s because I have my hydraulic pressure cranked to the max. If you have stock hydraulic pressure then you should be able to get away with having just 4 weights for now.. and I’d recommend filling your rear tires with beat juice if they aren’t already. Best of luck!

Are you considering upgrading the cutting edge still?
@BiffsEquipment
@BiffsEquipment 13 дней назад
Haha funny you ask that! I was actually wondering if anyone still remembered when I said I was gonna replace it. Yes I still need to do it.. very soon too as it’s even worse now than ever! It’s been hard digging with it lately as the cutting edge is so worn out. I debated making my own cutting edge but after seeing how cheap the Kubota bolt on edge is I decided to just buy that .. I just havnt gotten around to it yet but once I do I promise I’ll make a video on it for you guys! Thanks for watching and check for the latest videos! I also plan to make a new one soon!
