Hey Everyone, with a great winter finished and with a great tractor we thought we had this underlying issue showed up. We did a ton of maintenance this fall but got stuck with this.
After using the tractor for a while we noticed the 3pt hitch top cap (swivel point) lifted up, I pulled this apart and found stripped out bolts (supposed to be studs) and cracked holes. After pulling this out I noticed that sealant was in the cracks already and this had possibly been patched up to sell without us knowing. It could have been done years ago as well but we have no idea. Anyhow we got it fixed now! Enjoy. Josh
I suggest anyone with one of these tractor’s run an accumulator to prevent this when running heavy implement’s and fast road running. I suspect this is what caused this issue.
