Tim it was fun seeing y’all at the Morgans. Both my favorite channels together. I have a kubota L3301. I had it the last 4 years I’ve been with you. To me it’s not the tractor that makes a good channel it’s the good people in it. Thanks for all you and your family do!!😃 God Bless.

I think some people miss the point of your videos. They arent about what a green or orange or red or blue tractor will do. They are about what small tractors can do. Good morning Tim. Interesting on the start differences. For me here in our cold temps, I always plug in the block heater for a while first. Not sure I have to, but I do - both the B2601 and the LX2610. The Lx2610 does not have the auto glow plugs - I have to hold it as I did wth the B2601 and it does not auto increase the RPMs - I start it at mid throttle (as I did with the B2601). Thanks for sharing. Great info. Enjoy the new tractor !

I live in North Dakota, Its 34 degrees below zero this morning ( not wind chill) and I have a front mount snow blower for my 2038R so use it a lot in the real cold months. I have a small insulated shed and when I want to use the tractor I turn on the electric heat for about 4-5 hours so the engine is warm, and hydraulics, power steering, battery etc. Everything is warm, then when done snow blowing I put the heat on for a couple hours to dry everything off. A block heater just warms up the engine, but I like to have everything warmed up.

I wish you had every color made so we can see the unique differences from the buying experience, to how the tractor performs and probably most importantly, parts and service. I have the RK55S (thanks you Mike Morgan) and i love it. If you read on the RK tractors, support seems to be a major issue. That said, i had a very minor issue with mine and RK went out of their way to get it resolved. I couldn’t be more pleased with the tractor and the service. I would love to see RK get on board your channel( if you would have them ).

Over here in N. IL, I just put a block heater on my '10 JD 3320 with 600 hrs on it. I've been starting it in 15-30 degree temps and it was firing right up, but with single-digit to sub-zero temps on us for weeks on end now, I figure a block heater would both help cold start and save some wear and tear on the engine components. It was not easy getting the engine plug broke loose, we had a 4ft breaker pipe on a large 3/4 ratchet with the adapter to 1/2 for the plug. It was also not easy getting access "straight on" we had to loosen clips and move the fluid return hose in 3 places. But we got it done! People that are "seriously" critical because of the color of the machine are just plain silly and bored. All equipment breaks, the most critical difference is having a dealer that makes things happen for parts and repairs. I think adding this Kubota side by side to the JD is a really great idea and it really should broaden your audience and allow for more great content! Good luck TTWT team!

I never thought I'd watch a cold start video but you made it interesting! Last week I was preparing for a snow storm so I went into my "Plastic Barn" ( Shelter Logic) to warm up my Cub Cadet tractor. The temps were in the single digits and I got maybe 3 turns of the key and nothing. I then ran a small electric space heater in there for about 15 minutes and it started right up. BTW my less than 2 year old Shelter Logic failed! Only a 4" snow load split the peek front to back its 10' length! Luckily I had an old 10' x 10' tarp to make repairs. Best Regards, Jay

Tim I think you buying that Kubota was a brilliant move. You will be the first on RU-vid to do something like this.

Your business model is RU-vid, therefore expanding your customer base is a useful step. Always nice to be able to buy food. Good luck!

Looking forward to more side by side videos. Color doesn't matter to me, but the dealer certainly does. I looked at orange, got the impression I was bothering the salesman and he had better places to be; went to the yard of both red and blue, again I felt like I was keeping him from something else (it was NOT lunch time); wandered in to the green store, manager came right over, asked many questions to put me in the right model for my needs, and actually acted interested in getting my business. Long story short, green tractor in the barn. If I lived somewhere else with different dealers things might be very different.

It was a tough choice for me on my 1st tractor. Green or orange. Ultimately it came down to ease of installing the loader and drive over mower deck. Extra bonus points is that my JD dealer is 5 minutes away, kubota was one hour. On my second JD, this time I got a 2025R TLB. Just wish someone made an aftermarket turbo to bump it up to 28 or so.

Tim, you said “hauling wood”, it’s clear you spent some time with Mike Morgan!! Moving from a 1025r to a kioti 3510se, I am too amazed at the start up process. The kioti is much smoother in the cold too. Only issue with the Kioti had been a dead battery (under 10 hours). I had close to 450 hours on the 1025, and it went through the polar vortex, and never had a battery issue. Not sure what to think of that yet. Glad your well!!!!

People should watch because of what you do with whichever tractor you use and what you do for your friends and explaining what you do.

Tim, I enjoy your channel because it's 1. About tractors, and 2. It's informative. I don't watch because you're green or orange. I myself have have had a CCY SC2400 since 2010 or so, but I've been researching upgrading to the 3310. I saw comments by @GP Outdoors here too! I enjoy your channel as well, sir! Cheers to you both! Tractor on! 😉

I dont understand why people get so bent out of shape over a brand. I love your channel because you guys demo "other" brands along with "Jonny". I also have an orange tractor but it not a Kubota but does start with a K. Nothing wrong with diversity. God bless.

I am amazed at how well modern tractors startup in the winter. It gets nippy here in Maine. Being able to start my tractor to clear snow and move stuff in the winter is absolutely necessary. I was originally looking for a gas powered tractor just because of the cold temperatures. When I couldn't find anything modern, I grudgingly went to look at the diesels. I haven't had any issues at all. I do have electricity in my barn now, so I can hook up the heater. I put it on a Wi-Fi plug so I can turn it off and on from anywhere. I highly recommend this to anyone who has equipment in cold weather. I'm also very happy it doesn't need it. Did you put weight in the tires?

It's amazing how invested some of us get on the brand of tractor. Personally I always wanted to buy a John Deere tractor...always admired them. However, after doing about a year of research (2019-2020) it seemed obvious for many reasons the Kubota LX2610 was a better option for my needs than any of the John Deere offerings. I took delivery of my orange tractor, Sept 2020, and have not been disappointed by it in any way, shape or form. In part that's because it's my first diesel tractor and I know no different. My point is, like much of life it's what you know and have that shapes opinion...most compact tractors on the market have advantages and disadvantages. It's up to each of us to do the use and product research before making our purchase. RU-vid was a great source of information to me while shaping my opinions. Thank you for the knowledge imparted on this channel, it was and remains a great help.

Tim I have own two Kubota tractors, I always wanted Deere however they wanted $4,000 more for Deere same size and HP than my 1st Kubota 3701 L series and didn’t want to deal emailed me price and basically take it or leave it without even meeting me so orange it was! I loved L series , don’t like my b series 2601 as much feels small however can run across lawn without causing damage so that was one reason I moved down in size! Really like the information you share about tractors, implements and your life lessons and things going on in your family. Thanks for being real and sharing you struggles and wins with us! That’s what I appreciate about you and show the most! Bless you and thank you for being a bright spot in this crazy world!
