Sandhya Raju is a Kuchipudi professional who represents the next generation of Indian classical dancers. With 12 years of training under Gurus Padma Bhushan Vempati Chinna Satyam and Kishore Mosalikanti and 8 years performing experience, Sandhya has been performing several solo and group recitals across India and abroad. Apart from teaching at Nishrinkala, Sandhya also owns and manages Barefoot Dance Company in Hyderabad.
She was born in Chennai in 1987 and completed her formal studies there. She moved to Hyderabad in 2006 after her marriage to Mr. Rama Raju and began teaching dance in June 2007. She is the Artistic Director of Nishrinkala Dance Academy, Hyderabad

I have watched Natyam movie 3 times over this weekend.. really loved her Dance.introduction dance and climax dance are amazing.. also loved emotional dance she performed in a white and pink saree.

Sandhya Raju is born in riches, yet she displays such humility and extreme hard work, it is a joy watching her. And this shows that rich people are not arrogant, let that sink especially for people who watch the baseless claims of the film industry which depict so ruthlessly and stereo type rich WOMEN! I feel proud of watching this video from the great family and my family's close association with them for more than a century from Sandhya madam's great grandfather to her father with my grand father since 1900. I feel proud of her being more as an artist ,portraying kuchipudi and I learnt from her grandfather school and my father attended her marriage in Hyderabad . If I meet her one day ,it is my pleasure .

I read somewhere that she is the daughter in law if Ramalingaraju Raju from Satyam scam, and I am sure she got married after the scam. I have few questions here 1). Do we have to look at this people like celebrity figures or fraudsters 2). Can a normal person afford to do this 3).Does she ever question her husband or in laws about the fraud 4). Richard Dawkins, is an avowed atheist. We can definitely learn from everyone including atheists for their ethics, knowledge. But please do not consider our culture and puranas as fiction. All our books by previous saints, would . provide foundation, in all as well, ethics, compassion, including towards animals, chivalry, hardwork, humor. Hearing and reading from the right teacher may change your perspective about our history as not fiction. This idea of yours about fiction about our puranas, would not give me the same enthusiasm, of you, performing on Krishna or Rama or Shiva. That would make me think you are performing it for mechanical reasons. Hoping to reach out to your intellect. Have a great time. Its a feast to hear to you though, you have lived your life in the best way, thru your JK school and getting the best opportunities especially focusing a complete year on preparing for your performance
