Great. found this sonatine extremely boring when I had to learn it as a teenager (like Clementi, for that matter), but I discover now that it really sounds beautiful - played by a real pianist of course.
My piano competition is this song. It's like 4 pages long and I'm supposed to memorize it, and play in front of the judges. I've made it this far. There's no turning back.

Very fine, sensitive performance; beautifully thought out, beautifully shaped. One could scarcely ask for more in this piece. Anyone posting that the performance along with the music is dead is uttering sheer nonsense. The piece is clearly getting what it demands, neither more nor less, and the results are completely satisfying.
+Sabrina and Anjiuline I don't like excessively fast tempos either, and I don't entirely disagree with you, at least on principle. However, I still find this presentation quite acceptable. I feel that the tempo he uses somehow manages to make its point, without sounding too hectic or frenetically driven. Hint: think of early Beethoven rather than Mozart.
Isn’t that just great, being 86 and playing this piece by heart with nimble fingers and lots of emotion ? Playing the piano each day keeps the doctor away !
I am just starting to learn this piece. I memorized page one, the first theme. I'm 64 so memorizing is a bit more difficult. Like you I've been searching for that certain something that will make me love to play it. This was definitely it! The melody is so beautiful and kind of playful.
This is amazing I have to say please don’t judge him because of his posture....he might look like he has a poor posture but I sincerely think a man at his age would have a posture like him and plus it’s not very nice.…his melody was perfect maybe I’ll just have to keep practice ☺️
I finally found the true original name of this piece for years I've been searching.. 😌 I first heard on a music game "O2Jam" only labelled to as "Sonatine 1" I'm digging so much on Mozart and I got a wrong search all along. 😂

Sabrina and Anjiuline then practise it at slower speed with the metronome and increase your speed without it if you can play it slower with the metronome
