If you dropped Lynn on a deserted island with only a kukri machete, the reason he’d smile is because he’d still have his Espada XL, two Voyager Vaqueros and a Ti-Lite concealed somewhere on him 😂
I'm 72 years old with Arthur & afailed rotator cuff failed operation failure any suggestions I live on the left coast & don't want to end up with bubba.thank you
@@bushkillblades6313 LOL at your sour grapes cry baby comment. I own 3 CS kukuris (LTC, Machete, and magnum Machete ) know how many hand forged blades I have?, none. No need
"If you drop me off in a room full of paraplegic African children with only my kukri machete, all I'm going to do is smile" Lynn Thompson [paraphrased]
I like how this Machete can stab any hoodie with no issue! I kid….cold steel knives rock! This Kukri Machete is super solid and for its size and design a multi function tool!! I have 2!
This Kukri is the first Cold Steel product I bought, probably 11 or 12 years ago. Love it. I bought three other cold steel knives after that... over the years.
I have several Kukri. I would agree 100%. March 2020 I bought the Rajah ll and you really should check it out. It has become the companion EDC to my Vaquero Grande 6" serrated that I've carried for over 25 years. Absolutely crazy and it fits well in my jeans. It's a pocket Kukri. I love it. ❤
I've had a Cold Steel Kukri machete for many years and sharpened the false edge about six years ago. I have given six of them as Christmas presents. It's just a fine machete and weapon.
I have had one of these for about 21 years and it's still functional.....no false edge though Great machete.....my favorite is the 12 inch barong Liked and shared
I just received the Warriors Edge dvd set in the mail today, it is so cool! Been wanting it since I was a kid. One of Lynn’s teachers, Dan Inosanto, was a close friend and teacher to mine, Chris Kent. He knows what he’s talking about.
I own this kukri machete. I've cut carboard as if butter and I went through a box staple without knowing it. The edge didn't even roll or chip. A wonderful piece. I love the 3V you show. I have a Carbon V Recon Tanto that is the best tanto in my collection. My San Mai Magnum II tanto is the prize piece of my Cold Steel Collection. I carry a Cold Steel wherever I go and they never fail me.
I shared! I ONLY buy Cold Steel! They are the best of the best. Nothing cuts better, nothing is stronger! My wife and I both carry cold steel knives everyday. They have knives that are comfortable for her and big knives for me. I never doubt that I can defend my wife's life and my own. I put my ENTIRE LIFE IN COLD STEEL KNIVES! Nothing can beat them!
Love mine. I bought some brown self cling sport bandage and wrapped the handle and put some wood glue on it to give it a little more cushion because I cut dry wood at times. For green stuff it’s great. For dry stuff up to 3 “ it’s OK but it’s to light to process a lot of dry wood. A saw would would be better. It’s about a lb and a half and can dig small holes. The COLD Steel Shovel is it’s equal. I use the machete for bush wacking and remote camping and the shovel for more public settings. I shortened the shovels handle so I could get one hand wrap around the wood handle. Shortened the end that inserts into the handle. Smaller pack size and a easier to use as a hatchet. I also pre drilled my walking stick to accept the shovels screws so it can be made into a long handled shovel. I have liked and shared both products and have used them for over a decade. Highly recommend them.
Lynn is and will always will be one of my hero’s. I carry a cold steel recon 1 tanto every day at work…never have to worry about needing enough knife when the time times 😎👊⚔️
I've used the Kukri Machete for several years now. It is still my go tool for cutting brush and briars. Had to laugh when I saw Lynn's neck knife. I have carried a Spike Tanto for a very, very long time and use it almost every day.
@Cold Steel Beautiful performing Kukri. If I couldve won that Magnum Tanto to add to my collection, that'd make my Birthday & Christmas or just gift my wife a Survival Tool. Awesome stuff. So happy with your products.
I liked, shared, and commented. Long time fan of cold steel, and even bigger fan of the tanto style that cold steel produces. I carry the recon tanto with me everyday, and everywhere. Would love to add this one to the collection!!!!
I had a kukri from Nepal given to me as a gift as my first knife by my brother and sister. Since then I’ve bought a few, including the Rajah 2 which I’ve used to chop trees, make giant sandwiches at the lake, etc. definitely an awesome versatile blade
I liked and shared it. Still to this day my favorite cold steel item is the voyager tanto xl. Both serrated and plain edge. Can’t go wrong with either!
The Kukri is a fantastic tool and weapon, keep one in my camping/ go-bag for many reasons. Also just got a few of the CS competition throwing axes, very impressed with them! Now just waiting for the War Hammer and certain swords to come back in stock, make it happen CS!
I own this machete. It is a workhorse, I reprofiled the edge and it BITES into everything. Great buy. Keep it up Cold Steel, also... COMMENTED, Liked and Shared!
if it isnt coldsteel its not on my pocket ,i cant trust it! always have always will be a supporter ,fan and patronage of coldsteel as a company ,concept and customer fo or 25 years, liked and shared on facebook!
I got my KUKRI MACHETE back in the 90's when it was under special projects and carried on my gear while in the Army and then when i was working as a security specialist on a joint team alongside Saudi MADAR and that blade along with my cold steel Rifleman tomahawk made them all smile.
Tonto Recon folder, Recon spear point , ti lite 6" , ak-47 mini, Drop forged dagger, counter Tac, all in my rotation for daily carry . Best dam knives money can buy !
I never met a Cold Steel knife I didn't like!!! I used to have one of the original Kukri machetes and it was awesome. Now, I'm sure I need one in 3V!!! 👍👌🤘🤞
Liked & shared, In Australia our government has put in fair restrictive knife laws to keep us citizen's safe from hurting our selves. Only criminals and the mentally ill are allowed have weapons. Thank you government.
Good job, guys. The latest videos on this channel has improved dramatically compared to the earlier ones this year. It's great to have Lynn and Luke talk about different aspects of a product's design. Having a young lady to guest star is the sugar on top. When I make some of my review videos, I have my wife do the same guest starring and that seems to be a welcoming move. I have the Royal Kukri machete from CS--just a longer bladed one comparing to this base model, with a protruding hand guard roughly at the location of the traditional kukri notch. It has a nice ring tone when you hit something with it--an evidence of good and even tempering. Hell of a deal for 40 bucks.
I love Cold Steel products. I have a respectable amount of Kukris, tantos, Kris, and others. The quality of my blades get tested each time I use them. None have failed so far.
I love Kukris and this one would go well with my Battle Stars which make those little things David Carridine threw look like something to use in a bar game. Each point is 4" long.
I recently bought a stainless steel machete from a company called, Albainox to clear a patch of bamboo. After 20 minutes the edge looked horrible! As I ruefully contemplated the mess I'd made of it, I found myself wishing I'd bought my machete from Cold Steel...
Best knives I ever owned and I'm 75. So if you want quality and affordability then Cold Steel is it and the Kukri well I bought them for each member of the family for camping, hunting or just hiking Great for personal comforts, protection and just great work tool.
The small pinch point on your Kukri Machete is not enough to not slip onto the blade Lynn. Therefore I always recommend the Kukri Plus Machete which is disc. now - because you invented the Gurkha Kukri Plus 3V and 4034SS ! I'm glad to have bought the Kukri Plus Machete Carbon 1055 a few years ago with a much better steel than the 4034SS Kukri Plus Machete. OK it does not hold a chance against the 3V version but that costs approx 20 times more...
