Just like what many people said in the comment, i suggest you to rewatch this episode and read slowly and carefully every "character info box" that appeared Also (it may be already too late) for future episode, i suggest you to read every "character info (box)", EVEN if you already know that character

Remember when Kuma saved the strawhats in sabaody? Last thing he said to luffy before he sent him flying was "we will never meet again" meaning Kuma knew he was going to be in big trouble from the government for helping the strawhats. That's why he's a slave now.

That is the real Kuma, you missed it when Kuma first appeared he is the former king of the sorbet kingdom, which Jewelry Bonney transformed into the queen dowager of the same kingdom. By affiliated nation they mean a kingdom affiliated with the world government.

@@lapanthanim I know that but I always watch the entire video and they consistently pick almost all details and there discussion are very good so I thought they would not miss it 😔 but they did it was frustrating that they were stuck in pointless things and missed the biggest hint of the best backstory in One Piece.

@@animepiece5822 They are really great about details as you said, but they're still going to miss some of them from time to time. I agree it's a little frustrating but it's likely because when most people see the text appear on screen for characters they think they know already, they barely skim it. I didn't realize I'd been doing that myself until this case came up for me. This is also probably why so many people spoiled the up-to-date reactors on a certain character reveal that happens after Wano. They thought it already happened because there was text on screen and they forgot that text didn't say the same thing. :/

yeah I can't believe they missed that he's the example of what would of happened to shirahoshi if not for myosgard. that not even being part of the world government royalty can save you. plus the sorbet kingdom connection. with this episode it becomes clear bonney was more upset about seeing the pacifistas than the fall of whitebeard during the paramount war.

@vinn418dood That's the whole reason why I prefer people watching One Piece with someone who has already watched the latest episode or Manga so that you dont make unnecessary bs theories. I started OP when i couldn't even read English 😂(english is not my native language so) it was around 2007. From then I always break each episode down with every single fking details so that I wont skip them. Sometimes this couple sees or predicts something which is 100s ep later revealed I say OMG they're goat and sometimes they literally cant even see the obvious. Which makes me sad to watch

Regarding the security, the world nobles are definitely overconfident and assume no one would dare attack them. And they also have many strong allies, cipher pol being among them. The soldiers may be a tier higher than some guard of a lower kingdom, but they're no match for Sabo, and the celestials wouldn't care if they were getting taken out.

There are so many things from this short arc that are relevant to plotlines that come up much later. Imagine these coming out one chapter at a time with none of the filler the anime adds. For instance, the chapter this episode covered finished at the end of episode 889... imagine all the stuff we had to talk about that week!

This arc does a good job of being a "where are they now" for Straw Hat allies and friends, as well as planting the seeds for the future. I think a couple of reasons why security seems so lax is 1) they think nobody would be crazy enough to attack Mary Geiose, and 2) most of the the actual security is located on the lower level where they had to board the elevator.

"Do you think theses guards are strong?", this is honestly one of the few things that annoy me in One Piece. I guess in a shorter anime, with like 25 episodes, it really can't get that annoying, but when we're talking about 1119 episodes (as I'm writing this), I just can't stand anymore the focus on insignificant NPC's on the fight scenes. It's got to a point where I just skip this scenes when they come tbh

@@deviprasad_bal I try not to complain too much about this, but yeah, 100% agreed, there are some episodes that I just skip half of. In the last few, I think things are going fast enough, I'm liking the amount of stuff happening in each episode, but there were a lot of rough watches recently. Too much repetitive flashbacks, too much scenes where they just switch the zoom over and over from a character to another, it gets real bad sometimes
