Sharif A Bey interviews Action Star and Martial Arts Expert MICHAEL JAI WHITE at the Urban Action Showcase, sponsored by Demetrius Angelo and HBO/Cinemax.
The two Black men who inspired me to train in the martial arts, on camera having a profound conversation on martial arts....I'm at a loss of words. Thank you Sifu Bey for the interview and I thank you both for continuing to motivate me to train hard everyday. HUNG KUEN 4 LIFE.
Sharif Bey This was a great interview and I really enjoyed it. I have much respect for Michael Jai White because it appears as though one of his main objectives is to give the world a proper image of how the world should view the Black Man and he's constantly working towards that goal. He should be in front of the camera more but not acting or doing martial arts, just teaching basic principles of manhood and relating it to martial arts because our people - especially our youth - who enjoy action films could definitely benefit from it. I hope that our brother is successful in his endeavors.
So many good parts to this interview, what personally touched me was the making yourself do what you don't want to do and owing that to martial arts! Powerful the mind can do anything!
Hey my Brother very good interview with White. Haven't seen videos posted in a while, I thought you disappeared into the mountains. Glad your back. Keep up the good work. Tell Sifu I said "hello".
Moorish manhood is under attack in movies. Great point this brother is speaking on. Much respect to this pioneer for having the courage to represent the true so called black image.
Michael jai white. Great martial artist. Needs to work on emotional content of charcters, speech classes to gain more comfortable stance in roles, great potential and almost there.
Christ is the true religion.... I am remarking on the interviewers black T-Shirt. Its ok to draw power from your self from the universe. But know and remember all that power is manifested from God. In jesus name. Amen. Haters will be negative because they dont want to accept punishment for their bad deeds..
there is a sport for such as competition and fighting for the streets. Because of the rules of the Competition part such as "tournaments" they're certain moves you can't use and there are rules. It's a big difference between those aspects of fighting.
L.E.X The Assassin there are also things you can't do if you don't want to even mildly successful. those things are really what make the biggest difference
