KUNIGAMI IS THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT IN BLUE LOCK! 

I still like his character still because he was too naive before i do miss him being a hero but its like how itoshi sae changed when coming back from Madrid

I agree the manga has become the isagi show and I hate that no one else is really shining imo it’s just isagi really and the more I see isagi the more I hate him and the concept of meta vision because ain’t no way that a single power allows you to hang with the best of the best the kaizer, sae and Lorenzo. Kunigami is the biggest let down in blue lock imo he has not once show that he can score goals by himself it’s just been isagi assisting him and isagi gets most of the credit rightfully so but still kunigami hasnt done anything really amazing except the super volley kick him did in the air to redirect isagi shot in the manshine match. Like dude came out on top of the wild card and just looks different and is just emo now nothing too special. I also hate how Noel noa been sucking up to isagi lately. What pissed me off the most of the lastest chapter were isagi shot a left foot direct shot and scored a goal. I hate how he never practiced it prior nor do we have conformation that he did, just first try he score that it was is non dominant foot yet when kunigami against Barca (bachira’s team) try to shot with his right foot his non dominant foot it’s a miss like that doesn’t make since and we even got conformation that kunigami in the wild card practice with both feet. How is it that everything is always convenient for isagi and easy while when other characters aka kunigami try to do something different that’s outside their skill zone or niche it often time fails and they try multiple times another case of this was Nagi’s first attack with Agi. In that attack nagi shot like 2 times and it missed or was intercepted and he had to ask rep for help yet effing isagi does something he gets it right first try. And don’t get me started on his lacky kurona. Every since the u20 arc isagi has just be given asspull power left and right even mid game. Imo yukimiya was right to get mad at isagi and if I was in blue lock and I was playing or watching isagi play I too would be upset with him.

Definitely! And that's what I am hoping for. I hope the match against PxG (Shidou) will become his turning point where he will shine! If not, Kaneshiro has messed him up unfortunately, but I am hopeful :)

I do belive he might have went through same experience like Itoshi sae, who also got broken after coming back, but in a different way that he still wants to remain as a striker. It might be a good turning point for theories of what happend to him during that time when he was at the wild card stage.

@@inenmity there is one panel of kunigami talking to Isagi about assisting him and for a moment Kunigami seems to be his old self but maybe gets reminded of his loss and returns to his new self

This is what i was thinking with his development. Im sure we will get some flashbacks to the wildcard when we start to delve into his character development. Cuz you know him and isagi are going to try to devour each other and itll probably lead to him gaining some of that old mindset he had back as well as isagis current mindset.

See thats where i dont agree i dont agree that sometimes the best of us sink so low they cant get back up and i do belive kunigami will have the redemtion arc but he will be more of an anti hero than a villian like he is right now.

@@florentdbz9873 it's just a matter of fact. Some people, even in the real world, just get dealt the short end of the stick. Born, raised and died in poverty. Not even having a chance to get a proper education. People who spew bs about "if you try hard enough, your dreams will come true" don't know how hard it is when you're in the deep end. And that's what I think when I say I like their take on not making everyone a "hero" with a redemption. Look at how naruhaya, who was also poor AND orphaned lost his chance to achieve his dream. Yes, kunigami might get his comeback, hell I'm sure he will down the line as he is already part of the top players in the neo-egoist league, but I wish they keep him as is, dark and not at all his old self. As like naruhaya who lost his chance to help his siblings from poverty, kunigami should also lose is innocent heroic identity. And that's how you write a good tragic character.

@@damnedinfaith i get that, what i’m saying is that to reach the level he is on now, he almost had no choice but to act and start being more serious. Starting to regain his old personality can either cause his complete fall, or another sudden awakening and help him level up. I just hope the overly egoistic and sort of “depressive” part of him doesn’t get worse.

​@@forbiddenhappiness9642 ​actually kunigami got eliminated in the 2nd elimination phase, then he got two options either go out of blue lock or be the wild card, and he choose wild card. After the blue lock vs U20 japan team match is over, blue lock player has to choose which club they want to play. They got 5 teams as an option. In this arc kunigami was revealed again but his personality doesn't like before. Sorry for my bad english😅.

Did they really hype him up as a copy of Noel Noa? Or did Isagi just realise that's what he's meant to be? Also, he isn't worse than Isagi, he just has more difficulty fitting into Bastard Munchen. If he were on a team that would pass to him, he could shine.

@@TheRedHaze3 He is worse than Isagi right now. Although he has trouble fitting in with the team, he still has although a downgraded version of Noel Noa's abilities. He is even ambidexturous with his legs. The reason i say Isagi is better is because Isagi is a better player overall, not in a one on one or at scoring. He does have Kurona but his meta vision is really what now makes him above Kunigami, as he can even stop Nagi's insane traps, and intercept passes way better, (albeit mostly from his teammates). If Kaiser had not gone in the way of Isagi, he would have scored (prolly same with Yukimiya) and Kunigami had to both get an assist from Isagi, and head it after Isagi missed because of Kasier.

@@tyedrichill8097 I don't think it's good or bad to be on the "same as everyone else." Essentially we're all one, bunch of peeps on a giant orbiting rock. We like to be individuals and create separation with "us vs them" etc but often forget we're all connected. I think having main character syndrome in real life is tacky and leads to suffering. I think we should all strive for self improvement from a grounded place, not from a need to be special or to be a hero or to feel special. Now to narrow it down to Kunigami, I think he's going through a character arc where he had his ideals and belief system crushed and has to drop his previous self to he his "new self" albeit jaded egoist... The next evolution is to integrate his hero mentality while still being an egoist. Yin and Yang. Is everyone selfish and self centered? Well sometimes we gotta look out for ourselves before we can help others. We can't help everyone nor should we. Plus helping and saving everyone leads to nice guy / nice girl syndrome. Unbalanced generosity.
