Main Theme/Soundtrack from the Movie Kuro-Obi - Black Belt Due to some questions: The Kata performed during this part is Seipai. other Katas performed are: Sanchin, Nijushiho and Meikyo Please rate and comment!
Hola atlaz03.
i saw this movie two days ago with my karate club. After the first scene i really appreaciate it. The three karateka are good acting and the movie show many aspects of karate... P.s i love the last kata with the hands clapping (and i love gyriu)!
@RockoCL Yeah I like how they had karateka from a Japanese and Okinawan in this movie. Through that they did away with all the politics and just focused on the best things about the art in general. That display of nijushiho was great, and I can't wait to learn seipai in my dojo.
Well, you are right on both, it's Giryu is performing the Seipai Kata and the one at the beginning is Sanchin but I can't tell which one Tatsuya is doing. At the beginning I tought of Empi but it surely isn't.
My love is Taekwondo. I happen to practice it in a similar fashion to Karate as that is how old Taekwondo was practiced. After five years without an instructor, i still practice. I feel when I practice. It's when we feel our execution of the form that we truly begin to become one with the art. Application is important. No doubt. But without feeling, how can one understand?
@marcosabel81 thank you, this is right. I just wanted to tell that the writing is a little different: NijushiHO "Ho" means footstep, so Nijushiho is the Kata of 24 footsteps
i know how to download the music go to media converter org and click on brows on youtube the type kuro obi main theme and go back then click on te next step then select mp3 then will it start downloading and u got it
Having trained under the late keinosuke enoeda for 7 years I can attest to the fact that true karate is not found in the belts themselves but in the spirit of the artist
