Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Conrad Thompson to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

That's amazing to hear, that Brock respects Kurt enough to ask his opinion on a potential rival. But I've said that for years now, Brock is one of the best workers and wrestlers in the world; when he wants to be. You can tell when he just isnt into the match or doesnt respect his opponents. AJ, Kurt, Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor, he gave these guys such AMAZING matches because he wanted to. Then theres the guys that he just goes out there and gives them just an ok match or a meh match. Like Bob Holly, Big Show and the most obvious case; Dean Ambrose. I think he puts in the effort that he feels is being reciprocated so if someone isnt giving their all then he wont either. OR if he just plain doesnt like you, which sadly was the case with then Dean Ambrose. They could have made MAGIC together, but according to interviews from Mox, he and Brock just didnt click in a personal sense. And you can tell from their Street Fight at Mania' 32, Brock just wasnt into it. But! When the man is on, the man is god damn on.

WWE really screwed up his match with Show in his second run, back in 03 Brock always had blockbuster matches with Show like in SmackDown when the ring broke down or in Judgement Day. For some weird reason his most recent match with Show was just Brock hitting steel chairs and winning, maybe one of them was injured or idk why they did this

Ambrose/Moxley fucking sucks and all the old timers, including Lesnar, know it. He has the same match every time out, 0 psychology, licks his lips and does fake ticks every promo like a cringeworthy version of Heath Ledger's joke and is so stupid, he thought wrestling was real until he was like 14. Not innately true, styles can make the difference. Size is usually an advantage but when one develops a skillset to work with their strengths & exploit the disadvantages that occur in anothers skillset/capabilities & that includes larger size, than one can easily turn lesser size into an advantage

Brock Lesnar in his first run was truly "The Beast". He was underrated by most because he was on the same show as Guerrero, Benoit, Angle, and Edge. But Brock was epic back then and he worked much harder too. Even his mic work during his Smackdown 2003-2004 run was better. Current Lesnar is good on the mic and decent in the ring and he's still an attraction act you wanna see. But nothing like he was from 2002 to 2004.

@@nate6930 You don't understand Freestyle Wrestling/Amateur Wrestling. Brock was the NCAA Champion. Scott was an All-American. They're 2 different things. The NCAA Champion is the best collegiate Wrestler. All-Americans in Collegiate Wrestling are in the top 6-8 placements. Scott was good but he never won the NCAA championship and neither did Rick. Scott placed 6th overall. Brock is also bigger. In the cage and on the Wrestling matt, Brock wins. Against an Olympian in a Wrestling match, neither Scott nor Brock can beat Kurt. The difference in skill is far too high at the Olympic level.
@nate6930
@nate6930 3 года назад
@@pikkon899 i understand now and agree with your assessment in a match set by rules of the sport but in a no rules shoot fight, i still take a prime stiener any day because he has skill but he will legit freaking do anything to win hence trying to gouge your eyes out like he did page. Listen to the storys told about him he was feared by many and he went off script so many times and no one ever said shit because he was a crazy ass loose cannon. No discredit to brock i get why people would choose him but i take the lunatic whose willing to win by any means necsssary. @pikkon899
@pikkon899 3 года назад
@@nate6930 I have listened to the stories. Scott would have to take Brock down and I don't see that happening. Sorry. Brock was a bigger, better Wrester and stronger guy compared to Scott, even in his prime. Everyone always says "no rules" but these 2 were Wrestlers. They are going to shoot in on each other in a no rules fight. That's what they do. If Scott shoots in, he's not taking Brock down. If Brock shoots in, he's taking Scott down. Rick being bigger and was known to be tougher than Scott might fare better but Brock still wins. He was far more athletic than Scott and as a bigger man. People were right to fear the Steiners.
