There are so many delicious places off strip that it's definitely worth contemplating at least! I'll continue showing plenty of options over the next 10 years until I finish my quest of having a video on every non-chain strip restaurant so we'll see plenty of options. Thanks for watching!
I'm happy to hear that new generations of foodies are enjoying my videos! Plenty more to come over the years. She'll be 14 when I finish my quest of having a video on every non-chain restaurant on the strip! I hope you'll come along for the ride. Thanks for watching!
Me neither! My buddy showed me this restaurant and I was so intrigued by the turning contraption. It was really great. I definitely recommend checking it out. Thanks for watching!
Local restaurants definitely have some really great gems and I like Kushi BBQ a lot. Good value, solid food and chill vibes. Great restaurant here. Thanks for watching!
@VegaswithShin when are we going to meet your sister and her husband. Probably never but I think meeting them will add some depth to your channel. BTW where is your merchandise, 👕 T-Shirts with your famous slogan?
I am now considering leaving my usual dining options on vacation. The food looks good and worth a cab ride. Thank you for sharing a local restaurant for tourists to consider.
I've never had all you can eat skewers before and the cooking contraption was so cool! I thought it was worth checking out. I hope you enjoy if you make the trip! Thanks for watching!
I'm a fan! I like this place. I could watch those skewers turn on that machine all day lol. It was oddly soothing to just see it turn so evenly over the coals. Thanks for watching!
We had a great time here! I was so intrigued by the cooking contraption. I was mesmerized just watching the meat turn over the coals lol. I think it's worth checking out. Thanks for watching Laura!
Hi Shin ! Now that’s my kind of place ! I would have a lot of fun here . Thanks for introducing me to this . Another job well done man ! You are the man ! Thanks again Shin !
I'm glad you liked this one Kyle! We enjoyed it and I really loved watching the meats cook so evenly over the coals. It was such a cool contraption and the place was a very chill vibe. Thanks for watching!
I wish I wasn't making the video in some regard because I was so intrigued with the cooking contraption! There's just something very primal about watching meat cook over coals and the slow spin of the skewer turner was just so cool to look at. Thanks for watching!
We really enjoyed our meal! AYCE is perfect for a place like this. Really lets you go in on a lot of variety and options. 20 skewers at a time per order and you can go through them pretty quickly. Had a good time there, and definitely recommend. Thanks for watching Jerry!
I genuinely enjoyed myself here. I liked the food quite a bit and the meat turning contraption was so cool. I was mesmerized watching it for a while lol. Thanks for watching!
It was really great! I definitely recommend checking it out, if only to watch these meat skewers turn over the coals. There's something very satisfying about it. Thanks for watching!
This was one of our absolute favorite spots you've highlighted, Shin. Unfortunately, they no longer are in business with this model and have replaced this unique concept with a standard KBBQ experience. We haven't been able to find another restaurant with this concept in town (there are a few Yakitori's that are close, I guess.) If you find another spot like Kushi, please let us know and keep bringing us the great Las Vegas food review content!
Yeah, it's not for everyone but I will say, there was something very soothing about watching the skewers turn so evenly over the coals. Something primal I think. I was mesmerized when I first saw it lol. Thanks for watching!
I'm definitely glad they went the all you can eat route. It's just perfect for a place like this. Happy to hear you liked the video! Thanks for watching!
Great dinner....I knew the buns would be a miss 😢...but everything else was delicious looking 👍...those buns neeeded some type of protein so the bun wasn't so bland...stay safe and God Bless til Sat...can't wait til Sat., it will be a belated bday video to myself 😉🤣🤣🤣🙊🤗
The way I love to eat these buns is when they're a part of a Cantonese lobster. Dipping in the sauce is the best! It soaks up the flavors so well. But on their own, they're quite plain. But these were just dense. Like they may have been a day older than its prime. Thanks for watching!
I haven't been to Shaking Crab but I've been to similar restaurants. I want to do them but they're incredibly hard to film with how filthy my hands get. I'll have to think about how to best make that video happen. Thanks for watching!
If I'm not mistaken it's an all-you-can-eat, this includes everything on their menu, for $50! You could try everything!! 🤩 Don't worry about your hands I'm pretty sure they give you gloves and a bib, maybe even a finger bowl or just take lots of wet wipes with you 😉
this is a great review my friend ,the food looked really good and you operate chop sticks extremely well i envy you ,i wish i could learn the proper technique, thank you for this review
@@VegaswithShin my friend i am italian and i was born with a spaghetti fork in my hand ,i am a excellent twirler ,but ineed to learn how to use chop sticks ,i do love your channel and honesty
Love the concept of this place, putting this one on the list, curious though, why didn't you upgrade to the B menu? Would have liked to see some items off that menu
Nice Shin - I'm sure Niner & Chief fans will enjoy your reviews for their upcoming Super Bowl visit. Suggest to do as many reviews as possible this week to capture these fans who will start to arrive this coming weekend. BTW, definitely the Chinese steamed bun is meant to each with some dish like Kung Pao Chicken or other meat dish with savory sauce - pls try next time.
While I'd love to capitalize on the additional foot traffic, I just can't be eating this much too much lol. I stick to two times a week and that's my limit. Any more and I think my heart would explode lmao. Yes, the steamed buns are for sure meant to be dipped in something. My favorite is to dip it into the sauce of Cantonese lobster with the ginger and scallions. So good! Thanks for watching!
Great review! I looked at their menu online & I was a little confused. Does the AYCE price include the soups/sides or are those an additional charge? It looks amazing and I can't wait for us to try it on our next trip. After watching your videos I think we may not be doing anything but eating! By the way, your hair is looking amazing!
Everything I showed in the video is included in the all you can eat price, including both the mala tofu soup and the mala noodle soup! The prices you see per item is what you'd be charged theoretically if you ordered it and left it at the table without eating it (the clause you see on the menu about being charged for wasted food). There are two premium soups however that are not included in the all you can eat line up. Those are the ones on the right side of the menus. I hope you have great eats during your next trip, and I'm happy to hear you like the hair! Thanks for watching Ruth!
Not impressed with these items. I am sure they are fine for people who like this type of food. It is good to expand my dining experiences, but feeling *meh* about this restaurant. Your review was very detailed and thorough. I enjoyed it. Thanks so much for sharing Shin. You never disappoint 👍💯
Unfortunately this location no longer sells skewers and has turned into a more regular KBBQ location. It's hard to go wrong with KBBQ in Vegas though. Thanks for watching!
VWS: Are you considering any Authentic Japanese restaurants in the Vegas area (not the tourist traps). Vegas has some really exceptional local choices and I'd love to see your reaction to the food ( not just sushi). Just asking. Thanks
I'll get something along those lines on the channel eventually. At least 10 more years I'm giving RU-vid so we'll see another 500 local restaurants together over time. I'm sure I'll get something in there that fits the bill. Thanks!
Yeah, value is always in the eyes of the beholder but I thought this place is worth checking out. Good food, something very soothing about watching the meat turn over the coals, and chill vibes in general. I like it here. Thanks for watching!
The prices are what you would be charged extra if you were to order it and not eat it and leave it on the table. There are premium soups that are not included but everything you saw in the video are included. I hope you enjoy your visit!! Thanks for watching!
Anyone knows who makes "mango chicken" dish in vegas area? I think its stir fry chicken, mixed veggies with slices of mango, chinese dish i believe. Thanks
Off topic this time around SHIN. I promise next video I'll be myself. Just Curious all the eateries you have done, have you every got food poisoning from anyone of them? Don't have to give a name of the place, just wondering. * I know you eat a lot of different places and some have been pretty good like this place but I know others have been EEHEHEH. Also any chance you would venture to RENO and check the casino eateries there?
Feel free to ask whatever you want my man. I'm always free to answer or not lol. I've never had food poisoning from a video yet. I grew up eating a lot of crap so I feel like I got a decent iron gut here. Reno could happen perhaps. I was thinking about whether or not I'd want to try a few Reno/Laughlin videos. But I gotta get used to these 2 videos a week first before I look at traveling further out. It's taking a lot of time to do two and my editor isn't on full time yet. We'll see though! Thanks for watching!
Everyone has to pick the same menu option. You can't have some people pick option A and some people pick option B. Everyone goes A, or everyone goes B. Thanks for watching!
Yes, and you get to order 20 skewers at a time and we got through a lot lol. My brother in law can certainly put it away when he wants to lol. Thanks for watching!
While I understand the sentiment, I do understand why the restaurant would have that clause. If someone is done eating and then decides to order all the cooked foods just to troll the restaurant and waste it, I'd want some protection against that. They're not super strict about it. We had left over stuff by the end of our meal and didn't get charged anything extra. I think it's just to keep people from being super egregious about it. But ultimately, it's all about your value and your dollar! Thanks for watching!
LOL! I think UA started his channel a year or two before me so I'm actually his son. But I smoke too many cigarettes so I look older than pops. Thanks for watching!
The do offer the same menu during lunch for $27 which I think is quite the fair price for the options available but ultimately, it's all about what's worth it to you. Thanks for watching!
