Kutluhan Özdemir, Land Awakening 

Natural farming and produce require no human effort. We can awaken the soil according to the natural methods of Masanobu Fukuoka, Japanese farmer and philosopher celebrated for his natural farming and re-vegetation of desertified lands. Goodbye to plowing, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizer and pruning. Reforestation is possible with seed balls.
Kutluhan Özdemir, of Kurdish and Turkish origin, traveled in South America from 2014-2016 to protégés of Masanobu Fukuoka. Kutluhan now owns the natural farm of Edessa in Italy founded 40 years ago by Fukuoka’s top student Panos Manikis, farming as well as orchestrating reforestation using seed balls.
