KWA KMP9 Gas Blowback Review - One of The Greatest Airsoft Guns

A little history Bob the Axe man Hildabrad of airsoft gi used this gun for many years till he bought a KWA LM4. He had not done any internal upgraded to the gun. That tells you this gun was done right.

I love my KMP9. Amazing full auto fire rate, and a great platform for cqb engagements or slap on the silencer and you have a nice barrel length. It’s my go to gun whenever I play.

At least it's not a boring M4.

Great gun. But mine is new and my hammer inside gets stuck to fire and gas leaks out of the barrel. So I'm getting the hammer replaced

Congrats on the huge mile stone. yes the mp9 isnt as popular as it used to be but the history and memories that it gives every time you see one I started airsoft 3 months ago and im still not sure what I want in airsoft maybe later on that question will be answerd. congrats on 125k

Had mine for almost a year now and I love it more and more every time I take it to a game. This gun is so much fun and so loud. Only draw back is that the mags are expensive.

dude in europe we use 426FPS guns for CQB just fine...but ok :D russians like they teeth shot out....btw not using face protection on CQB is asking to be hurt even with 300 fps gun point blank...

at 5:36 pro tip, buy a bottle of "white out" (sold where ever you can buy paper and pencils) paint the front sight white.

I have this gun and i absolutely love it..... although beware of inserting the mag with the bolt closed because it can break this 30$ little part and its a pain to replace.... ive had to do it 3 times now

As a young 13 year old I first learned about these back in 2009 right when I got into serious airsoft. I still want one.

I just picked up my second mp9 today! Love that little gun, i have 8 mags and the suppressor to, i plan on duel wielding at 878

My dad runs this and it's spectacular. Been using it for 6 years. No jams, no failures.

When I was researching what gbb smg I should buy this was my runner up to the marui mp7. But this gun definitely won the coolness category. I even though about getting both the cqb bolt and the barrel extension so I can have 3 power levels from one gun but then I realized no field would allow this gun as a dmr and I would be at a disadvantage against the aegs so I would only run the gun as a cqb gun. So I might as well get the one that runs better in the cold, has better iron sights and requires no aftermarket parts. The tm mp4 is already at cqb level and comes with a thread adapter for a tracer/silencer.

I remember lusting after this when it first came out.... I've not even played air soft since like 2007 to 2008. Though to be fair I want the real steel version as well still....

I love the KMP9, and it's awesome. I just wish it were more durable. I typically use mine in semi auto and I always break nozzle/cylinders and nozzle springs every few games.

Best part of this gun, is that it's built better than the real TP9

I have one with a power up supressor, micro red dot, 40 grenade launcher, AK rubber buttstock, and it wouldnt be complete without the TAPP AIRSOFT 1500 round electric drum mag. Was expensive but so much fun

i think a really interesting concept (that may be impossible) is for a company to make a gas-block operated blowback system. I think if they could integrate a functioning gas block somewhere in the gun that controls the blowback, it would really help maximize gas usage. again, probably impossible, but having a slower-releasing nozzle would mean you could get many many mags on a single fill.

I have the Kz.61 and I love it so much. I put in an aftermarket steel bolt and it dropped the ROF down to about where it is on the Vz.61 and it kicks like about what a .32ACP would. But it's destroyed the rubber recoil pad that the bolt impacts. The FPS is also like 400 so I have to watch my distance

Only put mags in and take mags out if the bolt is back. Sometimes if the bolt is closed when loading a mag, you can crack the bolt. I had to replace my whole bolt, so I just bought a CQB one instead.

I love this gun but only a few days after I bought this gun, I didn’t catch the mag after releasing it and it fell in the concrete in my backyard and broke. Otherwise very dope

my kmp9r has lasted me 4 years and the only fix i have had to do was replace the nozzle return spring twice

Hmm, i just came up with this: a doubble barrel dt4 with 2 drum mags (the kind that go to sides of the gun) a novritch silencer and an acog

The shop owner of the local field I go to his son was selling his TMP 9 should have bought it can't remember how much he wanted for it

Fun fact: it looks like the ASG suppressor was modeled after the type of suppressor used on the MP9 by the Belgian land componet (I don't know it's name).

I wish someone would make some more Brugger and Thomet replicas for airsoft.

I've really only ever bought from one Airsoft supplier; Evike, but after watching so many of your videos over the years, I can't help but get curious. Airsoft GI actually seems pretty awesome, and I've heard that it's possible to use coupons on MAP protected items on asgi, unlike Evike. Not to mention that I've seen so many sponsorships and things like that done by asgi, whereas I've seen only a few with Evike. I'm actually considering switching to Sirsoft GI for an even bigger reason though, and that's because over the past few days, I've been checking out the asgi website, and I've seen so many airsoft guns on there that are discontinued on Evike, and this just makes me so happy. Does anyone have any input, or has anyone had lots of experience with both? Thanks.

You should review the S&T full metal GBB m16, it’s a modified WA gbb system, review are positive on evike for the plastic model

Amazing gun, sadly something happened to me where the gun would stop shooting, and I think it may be the bolt but I never got around to trying to fix it and using it again.
