I love it when people who were not athletes want to argue athletics with professionals such as Mr. Brown Good business is compounded by playing well, proving value, and competing and winning because the nba cannot survive with just casual fans. Great stuff
I understand what Kwame is saying. My nephew didnt get drafted either. His stats were better than Bronnys too. I love my nephew to death but I got to be real his work ethic was trash. He is more athletic than Bronny but my sister coddled him as a result he didnt play with that dog fire he needed to punish his competition. Instead he went overseas with entitlement issues and fucked up a couple opportunities. But had he been Lebrons son he would be in the league a year now showing the least amount of effort. I didnt want nothing to be given to my nephew I wanted him to earn it. He would have been even more fucked up if he was Bronny.Jr.
Same with my nephew.....my nephew's father got real connections but his Dad wanted him to earn it to avoid getting embarrassed.....my nephew grew up rich and didn't nor don't want to put in the work.... 13:49
@Tee-kc3pn EXACTLY!! I had to tell my dude this earlier, said he would do it for his son, and I said he would never respect it! It kills the franchise and waters down the league.
I'm glad Kwame said what he said about over seas the players are being taught how to play the game but in america the players are just being taught how to be superstars.
Anton is always on his channel preaching that people need to earn their way now all of a sudden he’s for the hookup but if it was a black woman getting this opportunity and type of publicity he’d be mad as hell😂
Anton doesn't want to keep it at a pure basketball perspective, and wants to keep it "business" because it doesn't fit his narrative. Bronny doesn't deserve his spot, no matter how you try to slice it. He's not ready, its a bad look, and the Lakers look like a joke. You can talk about the business aspects of the situation all day, that was never the original point of the conversation. How you manipulate a dialogue 101. I can't stand the energy Anton gives off sometimes.
🔥 Facts! Anton relates to Bronny because he’s a fellow trust fund baby who never had to get it out of the mud. Trust fund babies like Anton lack sympathy and empathy for people who have to work for what they get.
Basketball is a billion dollar business. Compared to what them owners make them players are getting pennies and they banging up they bodies. So what if Bron want to get his whole family in the league.
Bronny is the 55th pick in the draft and folks are trying to evaluate him like he is the #1 pick in the draft. When have we ever cared about the last person picked in the draft? People are just making all this noise over him because of his dad. That’s all.
they too blind to see they are hating on him. as if he is the only player in the league that doesnt deserve his spot. as if the 55th pick was wasted on bronny instead of...who? nobody knows...they just want to go with the crowd and hate on him. little do they know the nba wanted a father son team like the griffeys in mlb but nobody could keep their career alive long enough
@@jaredg3152 💯, my guy. The Miami heat had 4 undrafted players such as Caleb Martin, Gabe Vincent, and Duncan Robinson in the Finals the other year. Did you hear any noise about anyone fussing about the 55th pick from their drafts that took anyone of their spots? No, we didn’t. But now, everyone is hollering about the 55th pick of this year’s draft taking someone else’s spot. Please. The spot is for whoever wins it. No spot has someone’s name on it written in stone. Haters, that’s all. No one ever gave a damn about the 55th pick in the draft until his last name became James. Most people can’t even name the 55th pick in previous drafts or what ever happened to them. Now they want to attack this youngster for getting a spot. Like you say, the NBA wants this, I’m sure. Watch those ratings go up every time the Lakers play. Watch it…
@@parkside4623 just like vaughn for the cowboys. his dad is a coach for dallas. well, they had one pick left, and guess who was still on the board. his son. you think they didnt pick him? the nba was the last major sport that didnt have a father son combo. the nba knew it was going to happen and wanted it. delivered it and people are complaining. the hate for lebron has been passed to his son. but when you the goat, what else is gonna happen to ya kid.
@@jaredg3152 Yes. No one ever gave a damn about the 55th pick of the NBA draft until his last name became James. Miami Heat had 5 undrafted players playing in the finals the other year and no one was fussing about the 55th pick of Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, Max Strus, Gabe Vincent or Haywood Highsmith's drafts. Matter of fact, most people can't even name the 55th pick of previous years drafts or what even became of them. Now, they want to give this youngster a hard time because he supposedly stole someone else's spot. If it was your spot, do like Gabe Vincent and the others did and go and get it back if you think you were wronged in any type of way. If you truly belong there, someone should recognize your talent. No draft spot has anyone's name written in stone. It is a gamble each year. This is just hating plain and simple. I can see it another way if only the media was making a big deal about the 55th pick every year but no one ever cared until this year. Calling someone Homelander is just plain disrespectable. The name has a negative connotation and you are associating someone with one of the worse villains ever. How is this different than what they tried to do with Kwame Brown's name? How? It isn't different. Say all you want. It is pure 100% hate. Yes, the NBA wants this. They want to inject more excitement into the league. Watch the ratings go up when the Lakers play. Just watch...

*BroNNy is NOT a "KiD!!!" He is a GROWN MAN! They keep showin' us images of him as a CHiLD in order to PROGRAM YOU to SEE him that way! Don't fall for it!*
SMH damn statement has to do with quality of basketball we play here in the US. It’s not about the fundamentals and playing team ball to the point where other countries complete all around game skills is greater than the athleticism and style of ball we play. Sheesh comprehension of a child, fanatic, GAGAG, or all the above.
Bronny is a sign of change skills not enough😞... Black US men's basketball players squandered the chance to lock in and secure their place in the industry that made many of them millionaires and now will be outsourced by names we can't pronounce.
@@jaredg3152, pay attention and read the title. The discussion is clearly about Black men and the integrity of the NBA. The last few drafts speak volumes about their direction. Your bw argument is pointless. The Caitlin/Angel rivalry has been good for a sport that was on life support. Let her get her shine.
@KwameBrownBustlife brother you have already started to change the media for the better, thank you. PERFECT example is Kendrick Perkins. Couldn’t live with himself anymore and I believe you helped usher that on💪🏾💯👊🏾
They mad at you cause you aren't doing the go along get along gang thing. You are spot on sir. This is embarrassing for the nba, lakers, lebron and lebron fan boys.
Homelander is the perfect example for LeBron!! Prime video should pay you a promotional cost for getting the Boys back on the map😂😂😂😂😂 I remember when he pushed Jr. Off the roof!! Shitz was crazy3😂😂😂
Whoever compared Bronny to Kyrie should be put in one of them jackets to hug themselves...#1 Guard in HS and best Guard PROSPECT in College and avg'd 18-4-4 in 11 games.
Anybody with sense knows why the kid is there..I wouldn’t even keep talking about it. You know the James lovers will argue til it’s no breathe left in their body about that guy and anyone around him.
This is the world we live in… entitlement … I hate the fact that hard work is overlooked nowadays … shame on the lakers shame on Lebron and lord help bronny …this is ridiculous … I really don’t watch the NBA anymore …
fellas can we not come on the panel and repeat the same sentence! it hurts the ears. jump off and let kwame bring others on. that dude said "go get the ball" 200 times
all correct except one basic fact.... lebron didn't come from the hood. that's bs. i was there, watched him since he was a freshman, and know who kept the town together and who kept the lights on throughout the city. those fake media narratives are funny.
If LeBron had brains he would have pushed to get Bronny an Internship for the summer with Laker management team to learn the business then go back to school.
No need to go back to school unless he going to further develop his basketball skills. He has the money all he need to do on the business side is shadow those in LBJ circle. The education is already around him.
@@chive229 Never heard the people with money say don't strive for a degree. They cannot take that away. People with money used to be the ones to get useless degrees.
@b14m23 why would you get a degree when your father is a billionaire. Why not invest your money learn the concepts and hire those with those accolades to work for you. Make it make sense. Nobody goes to college to get a degree to be a CEO. That's learned over a period of time. If you already have the exposure especially from a personal level you're already ahead of the game.
@@chive229 People with money have always gotten degrees throughout history. With money you move away from just survival mentality. Mastering your world instead of just working hard. Think about it.
@@b14m23 man..... I have 2 degrees and nothing I'm doing is within my field of study. Degrees have been reduced into days time unless you're becoming a doctor, lawyer, engineer etc; other than that you can pick up a trade and become your own boss once you master that skill and the fact we have the internet no need to go to school when you collaborate and build without spending all that time and unnecessary classes.
Lebron did this to his son..Steph and Klay had father's in nba but those two can bonfire play both better than their pops..notice Jordan didn't move like Lebron is when it came to his sons..Browny up against hungry people, he never knew hunger to get out of poverty. Can't teach that
Lakers start.making it a one man team when KOBE got there it was all about him nobody wanta say it it became a selfish game cuz of the 🐍Lakers were called Showtime cuz of Magic Kareem Brian Scott them cuz it was a team effort 1981 before you KB was Born we saw some games AMAZING especially that yr when Lakers won
Don’t mention Kobe, he wanted to actually make his team better and took accountability when the team didn’t succeed, Kobe didn’t point fingers at anybody else don’t 🍆 ride
@@javorisborden24give me the world attraction the main attraction the 8th wonder of the world. Kobe is the only nba champion to win back to back chips being the only player avg 20 points . They gassed up gasol who only had a career 17-18 point career avg no one won with less than
Anton said what I said these players don't care about winning it's about getting the money and that's facts. If y'all think these players lose sleep because they don't win chips y'all crazy
Nepotism cool until the worker has to show their work and can’t be hidden behind closed doors. I’m all for it just be able to put the work in because people will always look at you funny when something is given to them and they had to work for it. There’s not really respect there esp as a man
My brother Anton.. Didn’t win this 1 😌.. Athleticism matters when u get your kid drafted on to a pro team.. Bronny’s no where near ready.. And Lebron is already a Billionaire.. Get ready for embarrassment 🤷🏾♂️🙃
Bro....this ain't it .. what are you really saying...whats the point of what you're saying. Let the bust this go. You retired man. No threats...it don't mean much in the grand scheme of things. He got a break because of his Father. That's as American as Apple pie. Sad days ...love you Bro. This ain't it though
@africa.africana we need to stop acting like we know these people in real life though. We don't know if he is prepared for what is coming at him. He got 8 million and his pops inheritance. He a be aiiight.
Lebron fans are not lakers fans … when kobe was winning his fans moved from clevCleveland to Miami back to Cleveland and now los Angeles no loyalty really
Why is this clown Anton trying to overtalk a former nba player about the business of the nba like he played? He got rich and thinks he knows everything in the world 🤣.
How many other 2nd rd 55th picks are in the league, none. Do why do we care if bronny in the league? Kwame don’t take your anger from your failed career on bronny
Look why is y’all still debating this topic look lebron told the lakers to take 8 million off his contract to give to bronny and the lakers will benefit off the back end so the lakers really not losing anything that’s why he not paying hard because he already have a spot he trying to help the others get the shine come on y’all it easy to figure this out remember he said he will take a pay cut for a great player he was talking about his son because he already said bronny was better than some of the nba players
Bro kept saying bronny better to get that basketball lmao 🤣 and Anton is annoying bro don’t know nothing about the basketball side and how much it takes to make it and the work you have to put… I am a former D1 football player from Dorsey high school in south Los Angeles I would be pissed if I had more points and better film then bronny in college and didn’t get drafted and he did I just can’t respect it
Y’all dont never show any hate to the lakers front office but the first thing y’all do is attack the black man. Bronny would’ve have a contract if the Lakers dont offer him one Also it’s true that kids who score 17-25 points per game didnt make the league but how is that Bronny fault? Ever NBA drafted players not just the lakers I didn’t hear nobody crying with Giannis got his brother a spot in the same team
