oh my god!! its my own fucking bike, this was when i was like 13 and didn't know much better! and it must not of been that bad for THIS bike because it still starts first kick and runs strong years later.
This was on stock piston, only thing that ever happened was part of the spark plug chipped off in the dunes and put a couple dents in the piston 😅 took chunk out and it was fine lol
Hey just a tip, your Oil to gas ratio looks a little high. When you mix your gas next, try putting a little les oil. Great vid though. I have a KX 100 too
I'm 5'7 and 140 pounds, would a kx100 be good for me? I've been riding for 5 years and my last bike was a 2000 xr100, I've ridden my friends kx85 and I liked it but it was too small for me
Its not a motor. Its an engine. How do u not know it was already warmed up? Maybe hes been trying to blow it up b.c hes rebuilding it anyways? Maybe its his brothers bike and he dont give a shit? Maybe he did this on purpose to make people like u worry and get scared. Ha
Maybe hes reboring or re plating and doing a complete overhaul bottom,top end rebuild. Or like i said could be his brothers bike an he doesnt like him that much also if the bike is not properly jetted or if theirs a leak in a gasket or exhaust it will bog even when warm. It most likely was cold but i think telling u wat else it could be is more fun.

If it’s hitting the case and your shift lever is getting sticky, you might have to take off the inner clutch cover & clutch hub to take out the shift shaft and make sure the washer on it is faced the right way, refer to the manual. I made this mistake and my shift lever was getting sticky & cracked my new inner clutch case bc of that .
with that much smoke its way to lean but these are some fun little bikes though i bought one of these for kicks when they first came out and ima tell ya i rode it without any respect at all and its still holding up now that my nephew has it but to make a long story longer it made me respect it the hard way considering my main bike was a 93 cr 500 punched 40 over TRUE BEAST!!!!! and it never threw me as far as the 100 did being thrown is enough but when the bike lands on top of ya believe me it hurts.
If you're heavier then it's a lot easier to get the front end up, my dad is well over 250 lbs and he could make my 04 kx100 stand up in every gear, on a bald rear tire, in the grass.
if I didn't let my kx100 warm up it would blow up made that mistake once never again (y) they are good for wheelies my kx100 just hit power band and lifted every gear with an 18 stone then I got on then it was crazy
