I like both of them These new 4 stroke engines are much much faster now compared to the old bikes from the 1970-1990 orso. In that time you had no chanche with a 4stroke vs 2stoke dirtbikes
@@kamiloskika967 Not all true. But maybe some 4 strokes Dirt Bikes. KX 250 is very fast top end too. This vid just playing around. It's not for top end speed.
Not really If you put a 450 4t against a 250 2t the 450 will beat it, 2 strokes aren't made for racing flat out on large straights because they will blow up they are made for mx tracks and enduro where it is snappy and light and depending on the 4t if it is done up it will still beat a 2t around a track because they tend to give off more power allowing them to still take off as fast and be as easy to get on the back wheel
@@fancysap No one said anything about Drag Racing, dirt bike racing is around tracks and you're not flat out for very long! Corner to corner that's it, And yes when you match the CC's of the bikes, the 2 stroke will win every time! You will not be a 250 2 stroke With any 250 F !
@@snkneo-geo933 2Ts are lighter, more nimble. How is a heavier bike more agile around the track? Yeah they put out that narly low TQ and power, but a good rider on a 4T vs 2T.....the 2T is gonna win, but its hella harder to toss around the 2T pinned. All the clutch work to do as well. Sorry, but I dont think 4 is faster than a 2.
I got a 2t but simply I prefer 4t, reason is that I live in europe, Im 15, and for my age the only legal vechicle is 50cc, so I bought 2t cause it works just faster
Incorrect. Depending on the 2 stroke it can be pricey because you have to change the piston and rings alot resulting in a high price and with a 4 stroke you can get a good 200 hours before doing a top end but other than that the rest is in the same price range
You can definitely say that 1 of these is faster in the video. But if you were to get a very very good rider who was been riding for like 20 years and someone who just got the 2 stroke a while ago, the 4 stroke would win. You can’t really say what bike is faster, it all depends on the rider.
i prefer the 125 in 2 stroke or 250 in 4 strokes always the 2 strokes are slower but have better acceleration which is really helpfull in hard enduro, but if u're riding only with your friends i prefer 250 4 stroke
Its quite simple. 4 strokes are easier to go fast on because the power delivery is smoother and they make torque. But any red blooded American male with a set is going to opt for the 2 smoker because that's a real dirt bike LOL jk 4 stroke guys (but not really) if it dont have oil in the gas you ain't really haulin ass!
2 strokes sound like popcorn popping in a kettle. I do like certain 2 stroke sounds but I do not like that classic whiny 2 stroke sound. I prefer to enjoy my hearing in my old age. The low grunt sound of a 4 stroke dirt bike sounds better but this is all preference so it doesn't matter what I say. I also like 2 strokes tho.

The reason why the 2 stroke won was because the 4 stroke has a lot more torque as you notice in the video how the 4 stroke was harder to handle because it was spinning more.
@@Micscience the reason the two stroke one is because it simply has twice the power LOL don't you know anything about those engines? CC per CC, the 4t does not compare to the 2t. (As long as we're not talking gas mileage) 😂
If you did a kx125 vs kx250f it would be more equal because if your on a 85 you can fit Crf150r and they go the same speed so if your on a kx125 you can fit a kx250f but the kx250f & the kx250 2 stroke aren’t equal & plus l wouldn’t hold a 2 stroke flat or than it won’t be a good time
We know whose got more power, do it on the pavement and it's even more of a gap. Dyno numbers don't lie. We know who wins on steep hill climbs, deep sand.
Guy on the 2t has the same boots and I threw mine out they were falling apart but it's a feeling like a curse lol only pair I have never wiped out on , might go get em before the bins get emptied 😂✌️
You are right !! 250 2T = 450 4 stroke. I raced both back between 2000 and 2005 . Raced 250 A +25 A. Had a 2001 cr 250 and a 2004 crf 450. I jumped on the 4 stroke band wagon like a lot of other racers did back then . The 250 2 stroke and 450 4 stroke were about the same just a different riding style. I was a little faster on my 250 2 stroke. I still have my cr 250 2 stroke but now it has a big bore kit in it and custom current forks and shocks. Still race 5 to 6 times a year , vet +40 class with my old trusty cr 250 2 stroke with new current over priced $$ 4 strokes, and when the gate drops I smoke the 4 strokes to the first turn and for the first few laps then I fade back because I'm 43 and get bad arm pump. Lol .. But there's the truth about 2 stroke vs 4 stroke. Oh yeah my 2004 crf 450 blew up beyond repair, sold it to a buddy that put a cr 500 engine in it.. 2 strokes for life !!!!
The guy on the 2 stroke doesn’t know how to ride one he’s riding like I do when it’s 10 degrees and everything is froze 😂 only getting 1/5 of the gear he ain’t even in the power band much
Then you must be a blind and deaf idiot, because idk wtf you seeing and hearing. He clearly is on the pipe bro. Hes not on a fucking track! And I'm sure he isnt trying to go balls to the wall in the video.
