Hopefully y'all get a chance to get back to Angel's Envy. I was just there about a month ago and it's just a gorgeous facility. Plus the fantastic bourbon and rye at the end!!!

Visited my brother and sister-in-law for the holidays. They live in Taylorsville. Went to Buffalo Trace. We just went in the gift shop. I got a bottle of Blantons. There is a limit of one bottle per person every 3 months. It is an allocated bottle. We then went to Wild Turkey, but they were closed for 2 days. This was at Christmas time and it was very cold, so we decided to head home. They did take me to a cool restuarant- Watch Hill Proper. They have the largest selection of bourbon in the world. Over 1,600 bottle. They had a big wooden shelving system. It was very impressive. I will have to hit some more distilleries next time.

It WAS cold over Christmas! Sounded like a great time! We’ll have to check out that restaurant! We like the mini Blanton’s bottles too, we have one big bottle we’ve been sipping on for two years lol. Gotta make that one last! Thanks for commenting, hope the video was helpful ☺️

Most locals don’t visit their own famous spots. I grew up in Philadelphia the birthplace of America and most locals have never visited the famous historical places. Also many people living in the New York City area have never visited New York

@matthewraber7478, I was just in Louisville at the beginning of the month for a few days. We did Maker's Mark, Willett, Angel's Envy, and Old Forester. I guess it depends if you're able to walk, or would require a wheelchair. I have drop foot and walk with a brace. That said, I had no trouble walking any of those facilities. A few stairs, but not bad. If you need a wheelchair, walker, crutches, etc. it might be a little difficult but any of those four distilleries should be doable. Maker's Mark does have a good sized hill you have to walk up and down, and at least one building I remember had a few stairs with no lift. Willett shouldn't be a problem minus some uneven surfaces between buildings. Both Angel's Envy and Old Forester would be easy as they both have elevators for people with mobility issues!
