He wasn’t physically pushed into the wall but the other dude didn’t leave any room on lap one. Lap one 3 wide is wild 😂 it was a dirty move and Busch got his revenge

You can pass lap one never said you couldn’t , but for one , it’s a long ass race , why make risky moves that early . They started in the back so they clearly aren’t front runners. But making risky moves and cutting people off on lap one is wild . They both had ego involved and it showed . Both of them were in the wrong but Busch didn’t start it he just retaliated. I mean I don’t drive nascar but I do take my car to track days around me . If someone bumped, or ran me of the track lap one , I’d be pissed to .

:16 shows plain as day, Busch was headed for the wall before the space squeezed tightly between Gilliand, Stenhouse, and Busch. Busch technically hits the wall first then contact is made between him and Stenhouse. Busch was just being a typical, hot-headed bonehead when he could have easily lifted out of the situation. He's the one that allowed the middle lane to open anyway.

Believe it or not but one of the drivers has a dirt track somewhere near that track in NW where hey all have old 70’s model cars built to the max. They go up on their off weeks and drink and have some fun! No rules

Yes they did. But Kyle gets a pass for punting Stenhouse. Now today at Charlotte Austin Hill hits Cole Custer and cuts his tire down and acts like Custer did it. Watched the replay, Austin hit him the drove Custer down the backstretch and spins him out. NASCAR, this is what happens when you don't enforce the rules all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing Stenhouse have an "oops" moment tomorrow when Kyle comes close. Enforce the rules FAIRLT and consistently.

Either Kyle had to much momentum coming out of the corner or he assumed Ricky would pin him against the wall because that is something he (kyle) would do himself. But Ricky never touch kyle, Kyle hit the wall himself

I think Kyle was trying to check up to keep from getting run into the wall. Then I think Kyle was just trying to move Ricky up the track in retaliation and Ricky over corrected.

Before the camera goes out of view, Stenhouse is behind Kyle. When they come into view in turn 2, Ricky is inside of Kyle. Wonder if Ricky punted him or something.

Imagine if all of the people crying about Kyle Busch right now were nascar fans when Earnhardt was still racing. He was hated as much as Busch, yet is remembered as a legend. Now, Kyle Busch can’t fill the shoes of Earnhardt, but nascar needs drivers who aren’t scared to trade some paint and drive with aggression/passion, particularly on short tracks. And on top of that, Busch just tapped Stenhouse who got off the throttle and overcorrected like he’s never got a little sideways.

If anything, the 34 pushed Stenhouse up a little. But Busch would not give up the outside position which put him in the wall. He would have known that if he watched the video before trying to find Stenhouse.

Most guys would have either ended up being turned to the left or just slid up the corner and saved it, but only Stenhouse can turn getting nudged in the left quarter panel into driving hard right into the wall.

NASCAR doesn't show (or doesn't have) the full runup to the incident. There aren't many camera angles to this. But, I have a feeling Stenhouse may have pushed or bumped Busch going into that corner. That may have been what ran Busch up in the high groove, resulting in clipping the wall. Maybe FOX and NASCAR should work on their camera coverage better. Overall, this was the most exciting part of the race. Not a team that tested there for 800 laps winning the race.

I don't think anyone realizes that Stenhouse put them 3 wide in a turn. As the air is pulled out from under your car, you start to slide and lose most the ability to turn.. Go learn some Dale Earnhardt when he talked about doing it to ppl. You suck the air from under them and they slide up the track. On top of going 3 wide in a turn not giving Kyle room to go down only place he has to go is up.. Whats up a wall. All the crying about who wrecked who is what Ruined Nascar. The late great Dale would wreck Stenhouse over and over for crying like a bitch.. and we all know this.

I don’t think u guys understand. If you don’t give someone enough room on the outside in the turn they will hit the wall. Stenhouse raced the first lap like it was the last. Doesn’t really matter if there was contact. Kind of a dumb move to make on the first lap of a 200 lap race. Kyle probably shouldn’t have dumped him. But not a chance Stenhouse didn’t deserve a bump.

It's terrible restart from Blaney .... that's been him all year one bad race after another and full of mistakes. They don't even bring good cars to the track I guess early on in the season blaney carried the flag for ford, but in the past 5 or 6 races blaney has been terrible. I wonder if he will get a top five. Maybe blaney will win the 600 in defend his title next week. Play he doesn't win during the regular season he'll still get in the playoffs but he won't do anything

I haverewatched the wreck a few times and Stenhouse never even changed his line from entry thru exit to force Busch into the wall. Kyle brushed it on his own and just threw a tantrum and shipped Stenhouse into the wall for nothing.

Busch got a bad start and drove too deep into the corner. He left the door wide open for Stenhouse which caused himself to tap the wall and then tap Stenhouse. Then he throws a classic hissy fit and just takes out Stenhouse. He deserved every bit of what he got after the race.

I fully agree that Stenhouse absolutely did nothing wrong. They never touched and Stenhouse never even moved up from his line to force Kyle, Kyle clearly over drove the corner and ran himself into the fence.

What Kyle did to Stenhouse should have never resulted in him going head on into the wall though. All Kyle was doing was trying to send him up the corner. I mean he turned him to the left. Stenhouse over corrected at a level I've never seen before.

That's not the reason at all. Bruton Smith bought half of North Wilkesboro in order to shut it down and to try to move the 2 races to other tracks he and Bob Bahre own. Problem for Bruton was that NASCAR doesn't allow track owners to simply move races. Only NASCAR can do that. Plus, newer tracks built since the 90"s are not supposed to have 2 events anyways.
