The cage is collapsible, down to almost completely flat and then it folds into a straight line pretty much. the vacuum like device that trails up his sleeve sucks it up causing it to collapse by sheer force. It gets sucked up his sleeve which is why at 2:18 he pulls his sleeve a little.

This is it. I saw this on cable back in like 2008 or something and have been looking for it ever since. Now, 9 years later, I've finally found it.

close, but it''s a collapsible cage that forms into a rod shape when pressured the right way. he then simply flicks it in his sleeve as he spreads his arms apart. take note of the position of his right hand compared to his left when the cage disappears. A great trick, and hopefully a future master magician

When the KINGS of Humorous Magic tell you that you are funny, I think the correct judgement has been made. The kid, now a man, has a perfected presence on stage and I find him wonderful. P&T are correct, he will have no problem making a living in his act no matter the level of magician he becomes. And since he has time on his side at the moment, there is not telling just how much better the magic will get. You take the two and you will have another great magician with style and panache!

Great show, but the cage is not fully connected, more so held togehter in his hands. There is an elastic string up his sleeve that is connected to the cage and consealed by his hand. When he "makes it disappear", with the sudden hand motion, he lets go of the cage and it collapses, folds, therefore going up his sleeve.

he has an apparatus tied to his forarm that folds very fast upon very fast hand movement, note that he does not let the cage in any other unstable way before his trick.

the cage looks like its made of steel but it isn't, its tied to a string and he string goes under his left hand through his body and ends up on his right hand that way if he pulls his right hand suddenly and quickly the string will pull the 'steel' cage into his sleeve, it's a really old trick but it usually done with some sort of cloth but i like how he innovated to make the cage look like steel.

If you pause at 2:15 you can see a guy walking on stage and snatching the cage. In like... It's, so fast, you can't even blink.

look at 2:18 and 2.19 , you actually see the cage "dissappear" into his right sleeve , and then he also touches it , so that has to be where it went!

The collapsing cage will disappear into the right sleeve. Both hands kept it from collapsing. Its probably a rubber cage retracted by a rubber band. That's an elementary trick 🙃

There are diffrent styles to this. Tommy Wonder does it one way, Harry Blackstone does it another. I happen to like Kyle. He brings forth some dry hummor with his illusions.People like that expecially his age.

He shouldn't have touched his sleeve at the end. Kinda gave away the trick there. Not that it wasn't obvious in the first place. Still love this kid's comedy though.

The cage is collapsible and thats why he holds it the way he does, when he takes pressure off the cage it causes it to breakdown into a flat piece that is easily pulled up the sleeve by an string running along the arm. You can buy these at magic shops for pretty cheap.

finally I found this dude....I watched him few years ago on TV...cant remember his name..I just remember to type "awkward kid magician" lmao

He had a foldable cage that was folded and pulled into his right sleeve. That why after the trick, he grabbed his sleeve to better adjust it. You can look these up and buy them but that's why they hold it so close to there sleeve and chest. It has a cord tied to 1 corner and when pulled with there arms going back it collapses into a single red line making it easy to conceal

He's cute as he can be a very novel for his age! The dead pan look and dry humor work very well with him. Just don't get adjusting and looking at your right sleeve sweetheart. That gives it away.

Lol thats crazzy dry humor.

This kid which is now in his twenties is def not famous for crazy tricks. His whole act it what makes him fun to watch. Like all magicians it's fake and there's a explanation and in most cases it's simple to explain. Good magicians walk a thin line of a trick being purely based on luck. This kid is known for his comedy routines mixed with tricks we've either seen or can kinda figure out on our own. But his stand up act make it fun to watch regardless. So before you feel like a pro by figuring out what he did. Just know in nearly every video his tricks are easily explained. Want to impress us? Get on stage and hold a straight face while a crowd of people laugh at everything you say while you try to focus on ensuring your trick gets done properly. He has talent and I think he will be known for his dry sense of humor before he's know for doing tricks that are debatable and hard to explain.

the reason he holds the cage stiffly is to keep it from collapsing, when he lets go it quickly shuts and he places it in his right sleeve, you can see him push it up beside his elbow, probably into a closeable pocket.
