I’ve suffered and still do suffer from anger issues. For some reason this scene reminds me of myself when I’m like that, and reminds me not to be like that at the same time.
The helmet's progression through the trilogy signifies the actual sequel trilogy Force Awakens: A clear imitation of Vader's helmet, signifying the film's similarity to Episode 4 Last Jedi: The helmet is destroyed, signifying the past being killed and... according to the fans, the "movie that destroyed the franchise" Rise of Skywalker: The helmet is hastily put back together like how the movie attempts to retcon Last Jedi and give the franchise a good ending, but you can already see the scars in the helmet like the damage Last Jedi did to the franchise
You know, “destroyed the franchise” would carry more weight if fans didn’t apply that description to 80% of Star Wars projects that have come out since 1997….
It's been years and I still have a question.... How did he break his helmet ??? HOW ? Isn't it there to protect his head ? Like, from blasters and heavy loads, how did he break it with only his hands ? Did I miss something ?
The only way I can see it happening is by crushing it with the force at the same time as he smashes it, but it doesn't look like that's what's happening here so I have to legitimately assume it was made of thin plastic or an extremely malleable metal. Rian wanted the helmet to be gone, so he wrote in some bullshit. It is one of the worse decisions made in the Last Jedi imo.
Boy, out of all the sith I've seen, Kylo Ren sure likes to punch 🤛🏻😡🤜🏻 a "lot". We see that in his battle with Finn and Rey, beating himself in the wound, and Hooking Finn with his left tactical glove before grazing his spine with the cross saber in his right hand. In this scene with his right hand clenched inside his helmet we see him effortlessly battering the light up wall.
And because Ben Always won't remove the day that he killed Thrawn When he was Four that what happened in the Mandalorian?! Snoke was right...... Ben was only Four in the Mandalorian
I have to suppress my laughter whenever I see this scene as it literally reminds me of Lee Kwang Soo (South Korean actor who looks and acts like Kylo Ren).
Today! Is the end of the republic. The end of a regime that acquiesces to disorder. At this very moment in a system far from here the new republic, LIES TO THE GALAXY! While secretly supporting the treachery of the rouges of resistance. This fierce machine which you have built, upon which we STAND will bring an end to the senate, to there cherished fleet, and ALL REMAINING SYSTEMS WILL BOW TO THE FIRST ORDER, AND WILL REMEMBER THIS! AS THE LAST DAY! OF THE REPUBLIC!
