Nice work. I learned quit a bit about the car just by watching you do the assembly. You did an excellent job providing all the stats and important information. It's super cool that you also provided the different wheel bases and dimensions to 8 nice bodies that could fit the Mk2. 👍👍
Always happy to see Akira Sensei involved in Kyosho marketing. The 2 and 4 mm adjustments to the body post height is stellar. And nice to see Kyosho offers in house upgrades. Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu Kyosho and Akira.
I like how they pull the kit out and replace both differentials because the ones that they give you are total crap. They clearly know this because they are replacing these them before the car even runs. I’m a firm believer that with Kyosho, MP series or don’t bother.
The diffs are not replaced, you disassemble- add diff silicone oil, grease ring gear then re-install. I own 2 mk2 fazers, one of them is this kit. No issues with stock differential, I'm having a few issues with the ball diff upgrade however.
Cool! Can we get upgrades yet? Maybe an improved center shaft? Chassis braces? Aluminum a arms... stuff like that? The cars are OK brushed, but really suffer when you put brushless power in them.. Please stiffen the chassis and improve the center shaft. It wobbles badly, at high speed.
@@deltazero3796 I'm in the states...... And it's not like they can't sup stuff out to companies like RPM, INTEGY AND YEAH... They all make pretty quality parts... Especially RPM.. who wouldn't like a set of rpm A arms on their MK2? Or maybe some nice shocks? Carbon fiber shock towers? Cmon... give us something...
@@Wanted1069 I've seen CF shock towers and obviously Kyosho makes all drive line grades but I've never seen RPM or aluminum A arms. I think I was watching Jay O RC yesterday and he had full aluminum upgrades and carbon fiber shock Towers. Red aluminum Center Drive Shaft was available probably 2 years ago.
Not stock from factory, they actually put in steering stoppers so you cannot have the steering angle required for decent drifting. With Kyosho, MP series or don’t bother.
Love my Faze mk2 charger(brushed).... But, keeps suddenly dropping revs temporarily before picking back up again. This process repeats itself throughout the whole run, almost like it's kicking into some kind of 'limp mode'? I'm guessing the ESC is at fault, anyone else had this issue at all? I've reduced the throttle EPA on the controller by 25%, but the issue hasn't gone away! 🤔
There are RTR versions and kit version as a roller without electronic and partially assembled. Kit/Roller and RTR - ready to run sets, those 2 exist mostly.
I think knock a few bucks off by making it an full blown kit and upgrade other parts. No reason to pay for extra labor if we have to literally take it apart to complete it.
Like most Japanese kits you mesh base on pre determined screw location's. This is nothing new. You can buy manually adjustable engine mounts if you so wish.
