Yeah, I love that Bulldog body from Proline, I was lucky to get my hands on one for my Kyosho Dirtmaster, so that was the RB5 version. Interesting to see this RB6, completely different to the RB5, mid motor and aluminium chassis, very modern suddenly. Must have been some major technological advancements around that time.
I have a new rb6.6 as well with the nip transmission options (mid/rear/laydown) The shocks are original same as my 6.6 and are super smooth. Lot of these cars are from lot buys that I pick up. This rb6 has been sold to a new racer for a great price to help get him into the hobby. It’s currently being raced at our local track! My daughters off road sct’s will be headed your way over Xmas Glenn for some shows- Always a pleasure to help out the show!

The rb6 was an evolution of the rb5, aka Dirtmaster now. Several of the parts and hop-ups are interchangable between the two chassis. Which reminds me ..wonder how close the Dirtmaster body comes to fitting on the rb6.
RB6, very nice car. The kit can be built as mid or rear motor and that's why I had 2 at one point which were sold for peanuts 😢 Thank you and Dennis for this video 🤝 Innocent question, when is the next Turbo Ultima video ? 😅
Hi, I was wondering if you might be able to help me out? I have two vintage RC Buggys from the 80’s, both NIB (not ”almost new” but actually NIB with unused decalsheets). Both boxes are in very good shape, not perfect but no tears or major damage. The first one is a Panda Monium (this one by Thunder Tiger according to the box and the instructions), yellow bodyshell and complete with decalsheet (in sealed original plasticitet bag), transmitter, charger, and original battery. Tires are still soft. The other one is an Academy Road Runner I. This one was sold assembled with motor and MSC but without radiogear. It is complete with decalsheet (in original sealed plastic bag) and original sealed bag with parts and screws for gear installation (servosaver and so on). Tires are still soft. I’ve had them for a while, but I’m not really a collector and personally I don’t think I can find it in my heart to actually run them. So I’m looking to sell them (or trade perhaps), problem is I have no clue how to put a value on them. I understand that these weren’t high end buggys then, and that their value now isn’t on par with with some of the more well known and sought after vintage buggys which can run up to and above 1000£ even in used condition, but there must be some value in them? Can you give me a ballpark figure for these two buggys? Regards! Anders Olsson
Can you check to see if that plastic lipo holder would fit straight into a 201 xmw please? I’m looking for a solution to mount a shorty . I was going to go sideways but that looks pretty handy that way .
I'd guess they both Copied Associated and Losi. Not point in reinventing the wheel. Worse for Tamiya, they were still on pins driving the rear and bearings on axle u front while everyone else had gone to 12mm hexes all round and bearings in the hub carrier. Nice work as always Glenn!
All cab forward bodies are just plain UGLY and detract from what and RC buggy is supposed to look like, otherwise the RB6 seems to be an awesome buggy. No doubt the other companies copied Kyosho's design, just like they did with the 1/8 nitro buggies.
