If they ever produced a DVD with these songs on it, I would buy it. The first time I saw them I couldn't believe my eyes. I am used to marching bands just marching and making patterns on the field. This band has taken it to a new level. I really love their version of "In the Mood." Glenn Miller liked to do motions with his band, but they never danced. I just can't get enough of them.
The members actually do a lot of the training by themselves. The seniors train the juniors and then they finetune it together. They train 6-7 days a week and that shows. :) The entertainment value is off the scale when they go all-in and play their hearts out as they did at the Rose Parade this year. No wonder the crowd loved them.
The Dynamic expressions of the music are so right on. It makes it so delightful to listen to no matter how many times you hear it. I'm not saying how many times I've watched and listened....LOL Great Stuff!
Lol are you sure those children aren't fine tuned robot's, because they don't miss a beat. They are very talented I'm sure their teacher is very proud, I know I sure would be 😊 all I can say really is this band is AMAZING!!!!!!!
Felicidades!
Their are some bands trying to copy them. If some of the bands given time get much better. Tachibana may have to step up their performances it may be more work to stay on top. So far I think Tachibana is the best i hope they stay on top for a very long time.
Nice....just a few more peeks into the Disney part of the U.S. tour, along with favorites we all know and enjoy. The first 3+ minutes didn't really have to be included, but until we get sub-titles us Tachibana fans outside of Japan will just have speed up our learning of Japanese. Thanks for the post ....'Brass, great view, and sound....smooth pans and close ups. Well done.
Hey, another foreign Tachibana fan here, I somewhat speak japanese and I've been thinking of trying to translate some of the information on bands and stuff into english so it'd be more openly available to people like us Do you think it'd be worth it? I honestly can't tell how big the community around japanese Brass bands outside of Jpaan is
Hi Kori, I personally think it would be great, but that's a lot of work for probably less than a few hundred devoted fans. If you...the viewer....has been in band before we can get the general feeling of what's being said, but perhaps not word for word, but a general re-cap of what was said would be enjoyable. Perhaps do just the top 3 or 4 bands, and have a fee involved, never work for free....LOL Stay in touch.
Paul Miller I'd love if I could somehow get paid for this but I highly doubt that the community for this is anywhere big enough for me to be able to really earn any money at all for this haha Edit: I'd also probably not necessarily go for translating small speeches like these since they're somewhat similar and empty almost every time, but more general information or something like the waratte Koraete shows^^
Kori, perhaps just offer your services for translation, and let those that want/need something done contact you...in a more private way....agree on whats to be done, list the video, and a price. I've got a few when your ready....LOL
It is a high-class brass band. The appearance of high school girls playing rhythm is beautiful will send you an applause. 세계적인 수준의 브라스밴드입니다. 京都橘高等学校吹奏楽部 世界クラスのバンド感動感動熱い拍手を送り、あなた愛しています^^\ __ ( Korea Musician harmonics Professor - David Kim )______
