Usually the woman sleeps furthest away from the entrance as a subconscious safety mechanism. Not sure if there’s a science to that but I find it’s true every time with us. Especially when we’re in a hotel room. My husband sleeps naturally near the entrance..
I’ve heard that but I don’t know. I always sleep on the side closest to the door and I think it’s more because it’s the first side I get to without having to go around the bed 😂 My husband doesn’t care either way so he lets me take whatever side I want.

Kyra is showing “manic” behavior. I believe she’s bi -polar, manic episodes are EXACTLY the way she behaves. She has high highs, a low lows. She’s spiraling out of control.
Agreed. She also seems to show both histrionic and narcissistic traits on top of bipolar (unstable/intense emotions and mood swings, inflated sense of self worth, difficulty maintaining relationships, overly sexual, attention seeking to the point of embarrassing herself and/or others, etc).

My husband sleeps on the side closest to the door. He says it's because he wants to be the first line of attack and defense in case intruders break in. 4 years ago, we had a break in he was up and had his gyn and out of our bedroom door within seconds. He was able to fire off 2 rounds, and the intruders took off.
Happy Monday Josh. 😂 You're right about the bed thing. The guys always seem to be on the left. My partner is on the left if you're lying in the bed, not looking at the bed because he likes being by the door. My parents said it's an instinctual protection thing, like be closer to the door to protect your family type deal (apparently). My partner's reasoning is he gets up first (2-3 hours before me) and he can leave me asleep relatively undisturbed and be out of the bedroom in the morning. I asked to switch and got the firm 'NO!' 😂
I find a lot of the family vloggers from the US that you snark on yell...a lot. I asked Abby from Matt and Abby why she was yelling in a short because the stupid thing popped up in my algorithm. I had my volume right down and she was still sooo loud, it hurt my ears. Most of them yell, a lot. Probably why I follow Canadians a bit more, they don't yell. This doesn't apply to all US vloggers of course.

She’s pregnant. All she’s talked about in this video is how hungry and tired she is. She keeps dropping hints! The belly, tired, hungry, congratulations, cup of wine is filled the same amount each time it was on screen & she didn’t even film her drinking it. We all know she’s constantly showing herself drink.

When I was 16, I was groomed by my boyfriend’s stepmom, she convinced me to get pregnant (I later found out she wanted a baby of her “own” and planned on taking mine) anyways, thats when I found OKbaby. They glorified teen pregnancy and instead of talking about the hardships they made it look easy. It made my young mind think there was nothing wrong with what I was going through.
Wow I always wondered this. I was 23 when she was 20 and I was at college and it was not the same path as mine but it definitely felt promoted by them. I wondered how it would be for her younger viewers or viewers in a similar situation.
The first ever video I saw of hers back in (I thought it was 2013? But must’ve been 2016) was the DITL of a teenage mom and it was only 2 months old then. I found them fascinating as someone living a v different life to them - I was in college away from home and also broke but for a diff reason. I loved watching how attentive Oscar was and his hard work to get his family out of, let’s be honest, poverty (they were living with his mum just before this) and the money hadn’t quite started coming in yet. Oscar would wake up first and do the morning with Levi, then he’d hand over the baby to Kyra (who was still in bed) and she was sleep more with the baby while he woke up super early to work in a packing factory or something like that. He seemed to work 8-12 hour shifts as he came home super late and woke up early. They did have huge views but I think it took a lot to get them out of poverty. They didn’t start spending until she was pregnant with her second and they bought a way too big house. That was the start of the their downfall. But this era was what made me interested in them and I think their most enlightening videos are around this time. I hope you watch more of them! Oh and side note while Oscar was doing all this and Kyra was looking after Levi at home full time, Oscar was also doing all the editing and uploading for her channel and their shared channel. He hustled for their money and she raised the kids (not saying this isn’t hard work) but she definitely wasn’t pulling as much as the weight income wise or even effort wise for their channels considering she was the one with the most time.
I started to follow them the same time as you. I really was fascinated how the manage everthing. They were so natural and kind of normal.... until they start spending and becoming a baby after another. I stopped following as she started this blanket business only 3-4 weeks after giving birth to their 3.child

They should have filmed in black & white and added in text screens where they are speaking to each other when Oscar arrived home. Especially with the music, this is almost like a silent movie.
Clever idea with the ice rink. My dad did that in his back yard when he was growing up in Michigan! Oh the piano music makes it sound like they’re in a silent film from the 30’s!

I used to sleep on the right side but now that my husband has passed I took over his side and I love it . We have a California king but when he was dying he slept across the bottom of the bed for about 5 months and of course I had to sleep across the top of it.😢
I used to watch all the mommy vloggers along time ago, the collab thing was they would make similar videos or videos with the same titles and call it a collab because it got people to click on their RU-vid and watch that same video.
I was listening to this while driving to work this morning and I was laughing so hard at certain points that I’m sure other drivers thought I was losing my mind, lol. Thank YOU so much for telling people to quit putting a “s” on the end of anyway. It’s a crazy pet peeve of mine. Another one is saying “where are you at?”. “At” is a preposition & you do not use a preposition at the end of a sentence. Thank you for your grammar policing skills, Josh. 😊

I'm pretty sure that was the same day Oscar filmed a day in his life while working in the warehouse. That's why he had the go pro in the beginning. Funny watching this video again in a whole new light. I remember watching it when she put it out.
Best thing about life is...there are no rules. 33:37 From an experience I think she is taken some sort of anxiety or anti-depression medication. That’s why in this video she is super reactive into things more than usual. Even her facial expression is intense than usual. Also if you notice the loud laughter and the high energy is also way off her usual. Most importantly, if you notice Peterson (whatever his name is) is not matching her energy. Also her friends/friend is not matching her energy. She is not aware of her actions and facial expression nor her energy around others the entire video. From my experience I get super reactive if I am taking a specific type of anxiety medication (also used as an anti-depression medication). Another thing to note, she said at the end of the video that last day she was not feeling ok! So I think she took the med to help her but the dose is so high thus she have this high annoying (with zero awareness) energy!
Josh, that's so funny I never realized that. You're right! When we lived in our apartment 10 years ago I slept on the left, my husband slept on the right side only because always slepton the right side even before we met, when we moved into out home, I told him you pick your side, I don't care, he chose the left side, I'm on the right side. My parents are also the same, my dad is on the left and it's always been that way. My father in law also on the left, and when my grandparents where alive my grandpa was on the left, my grandma on the right. That's crazy....now I will forever always pay attention to that!! I never realized that!

That's so funny! My husband and I have been married for over 11 years but we've switched back and forth. It's always had to do with having another baby. I like to have the bassinet right next to me and sometimes one side of the bed is more convenient than the other to have the bassinet parked.
I'm always on the right side of the bed, and my husband is on the left side since forever. When I sleep on his side, I feel like I don't get a good night sleep. 😅 No matter where we sleep, the hotel or other houses that never change.

I refuse to sleep with it closed in fear I won’t hear one of our kids. Also it’s most definitely NOT going to be Kyra’s year! I predict she will get married and then immediately get pregnant to bring in more income! Just MY theory about her. Also Josh your laugh is so infectious! I love it!
We switched sides when we (me) moved from my apt to the house we bought. He is like 400pounds and I can climb out of the corner easier. No longer together due to domestic violence, but it was just practical, he had his cpap on the side with the nightstand, I kept a pile of books on the floor in the small space between the wall and bed. I used to shimmy down to the bottom to get out, rather than climb over him. I missed MY usual side of the bed and switched back when he was escorted from the residence (in handcuffs) I sleep great again.
