There was no shot fake. He did an in and out, push through dribble release, to a small crossover - pull back/drag. Ans hen into a low, sweep through gather, two footed 1-2 jump stop into a floater.
Pure art, thank you so much. I know, the commentators at the time did call this a Shammgod move, even the camera was on Mr. Shammgod who is on the Mavericks team to relate to this beautiful series of basketball motions. I say this is an inspired move by Shammgod.
Why is everyone all of a sudden calling that push dribble snatch with the same hand a shammy?? Shamgod was the push dribble then snatch with OPPOSITE hand.
@harveymitchell5114 since the 90s when sham was breakin dudes off in college. Look up his highlight reel. His specific move was always push with one hand (usually his right) then snatch back with the other opposite hand.
@harveymitchell5114 for sure. Artistic interpretation is always a part of the craft. I just never saw sham do it. Honestly I feel like this is kys variation of the move he does this a lot. He did it the other night with that ridiculous 4 point play.
@@TacticalSteez At 0:15 mark, Kyrie picked the ball up with BOTH hands so his “gather step” is over by that point. He then took 3 steps so it's a travel. I know with Kyrie's speed and smoothness it's hard to catch at game speed but it's still a travel.
@@Liquidplantium it’s not hard to catch his hand isn’t on the ball on the first step your looking at when he pushed to the side he did 1 2 plant ive been a ky fan for years but players have been doing that for decades a lot of people tend to get confused planting isn’t counted as a step as long as the 2nd foot on the step isn’t dragged
@@Liquidplantium look at when he pounds the ball and two hands go over one step then his knee goes over leg for the 2nd the. Plants for pull-up ive already seen that video 😭
