Mavs head coach Jason Kidd ends the team huddle with "free throws on three" to joke with Kyrie Irving after Game 2 vs. the Timberwolves. 🤣 #nba #kyrieirving #mavericks
It wasn’t hate back then it was accountability. I love seeing him now because he learned from his actions corrected them and now his talent comes with leadership! Beautiful to see the growth and I love seeing him this happy.
man Jason Kidd was an elite pg back in the 90’s and drafted by the Mavs.. trio of JKidd, Jim Jackson, Jamal Mashburn just didn’t mesh well for some reason. I remember when he got shipped to Phoenix he was a stud, near triple double averages. Only the old heads know how great Jkidd was in his prime.
@@kylegough936 what I’m saying is that it would be great to have Jason as your coach being Kyrie. There’s a lot of greatness between the two of them. There was zero negativity in the initial comment
This no drama version of Kyrie is fun to watch. Dude seems like he just found the right situation where he doesn’t have to be ‘the main guy’ again and can just play ball.
Kyrie went looking to be the #1 after his time in Cleveland. He’s definitely more of a #2. A secondary ball handler that can get you a bucket when you need one.
Jason Kidd got so much criticism over the years. But when you see what positiv vibe and togetherness he created with his staff, he is one of the best coaches for me at the moment. Feels authentic and human. He is usually calm on the sideline; minding his business. And you can see what kind of Defense he can coach, when he has the right players. Imagine Maxi Kleber being Healthy. I would not know a better defensive rotation in the league right now.
Bro Jason kidd is a legend. I remember even his last few years as a player he was still legit. Perfect team friendly coach but strict too when he has to be
Nah i swear this what bugs me about some of these fans. If an nba team is doing good, they mainly credit the players. If an nba team is doing bad, they’ll mainly bash the coaches.
He has been mature... the media was perpetuating him in a certain light because of his stance against the "vaccine." Even the idiotic mayor of New York cast dispersions upon him. Now, look at what he is doing now and look at the state of New York.
Kyrie has been like this since the end of the BK era. And hes never really been an "immature" guy in the first place so this comment and the likes make no sense.
@jdrmanmusiqking ABSOLUTELY agree. And I see RU-vid removed my comment about the REAL reason Kyrie was receiving so much hate from the media/pundits during his time in Brooklyn.
New York is a cancer. The facts that politics got involved, the fake-liberal owner tried to muzzle Kyrie re-educate him and get him jabbed. It was all psy-op that Kyrie was the culprit. Weird how the controversy suddenly went away the second he left NY.
@@user-wy3dl2em7pHe’s not being racist*, he’s stating the fact that Kyrie and (smh) Jason Kidd have won a title before, and know what it takes to win one.
Nice to see Kyrie happy again. It's ridiculous his greatness wasn't on display for a while because people got their feelings hurt and can't accept a difference of opinion. Greatest finisher of all time. Would be awesome to see Lukas first ring and Kyrie getting his second.
Everyone is locked in and focused while he's talking. They trust Kidd to get them to the promised land. I appreciate Dallas for riding with their coaches through the ups and downs. I think Dallas can beat anyone, but the Celtics are going to be tough.
Love J kidd. Class act. Humble dude. I was in high school when he was wreckin it at Cal university throwin dimes like Magic Johnson. Full court bounce passes. Just insane stuff. Great player. Greater human being.🙏🏼🤙🏼✊🏼
@@crizzleyo815they ran him out of his coaching. He basically called out the players, "who wants to be leader" and accountability and the players ran him out of the job.
Both of yall are correct. Kyrie has always been himself and still is but that core "self" has evolved but just subtly The storms he has gone through his given him an incredibly calm but powerful aura. Its hard to explain but he just has this unmistakable presence now @@kylesawkon4074
@@MitchellLudwicktop 10? 20? Either of those are pretty damn good yeah? Mr ludwick sir? Does that appeal to your exxxxxxtreeeeemely high standards? 😂 gotta love critics from the sidelines yall my favourite , I played college ball and JK is a weapon of all sorts . One of the smartest iq pgs to ever lace em up 💯 the receipts are there
You mean Happen again. I’ve never seen Kyrie miss Free throws like that it’s crazy so yeah hopefully he doesn’t miss anymore like that if they had lost this close gm Kyrie’s Free throws would’ve absolutely been a factor.
@@galenmarek4079 another bandwagon defending a bandwagon LMAOOO . You know it’s real when he doesn’t know the person but mad you called them a bandwagon
Yea but as a ball player nah you don’t take that. Make your damn free throws esp in clutch. Why you think he apologized to his dad in the interview 😂😂😂
ITS SOOOO REFRESHING SEEING KYRIE HAPPY!!! I've always seen him as a decent and genuine dude...well spoken, well dressed, smart & humble....his success is well deserved brother
Team. Thats a team. The Mavs Dynasty is officially here. God bless dirk, but god bless god he created Luka. This is a team built to contend for 3-5 years. I smell the first 3 peat since jordan with this team. They're all still young and wanna be in Dallas... Goodluck!
Man i hope your right, truly i do but predicting a 3 peat in todays landscape is a bit crazy. We haven’t finished the job in the wcf yet and tho i feel we will, boston will also be a challenge to get through. I believe we can win but 3 years is a long time in the nba, okc will be better, ant will get better, denver will retool, and who knows what will be going on out east. Go Mavs tho
Already calling a 3-peat before winning a chip lol. You know how hard it is to 3-peat? The KD warriors couldn’t even do it, and most pros claim that’s the best team of all time. …also the last 3-peat was actually Kobe and Shaq lmao.
