Only in Japan you can mistake a restroom as a restaurant. That says a lot about the country's penchant for cleanliness and sophistication. Wish all countries, especially my own country India, was like that.

Hi, Rion, another high quality video as usual. But while watching you enjoying both your dinner and fancy breakfast it just occurred to me that especially this video might be applied as a therapy for those people with eating disorder. You just seem to be extremely motivating in this respect. It is simpely stunning the way you enjoy the food. I guess you just love it so much. What a pleasure! Keep on eating!

I came to Japan back in 2017, first city I visited was Fukuoka before reaching Tokyo. For me Fukuoka is much friendlier and feel so relax there than super busy Tokyo lol. I miss Fukuoka so much.
I think.... Fukuoka is my favorite Japanese city. I live very close by, but I always find it to have everything I could want, but it's not overly big or crowded.

There's a hotel here in Manila back in the 1950's named OTANI HOTEL. It became dilapidated back in the early 2000's and now rebuilt and renovated to it's former glory. I wonder if they have the same management and are both of the same origin.

I’ll be in Fukuoka next September I use to book at the Nishitetsu Croom near JR Hakata Station because the Onsen in this “hoteru” is great My favourite city in the world

Oh Rion! You reminded again how eager and happy I was when eating breakfast from the hotel in Japan! Japanese style that came with a small clay hibachi cooking the fish to western/Japanese style ayce! When I made a hotel booking, I always look for breakfast inclusive or an add on. I wish I can come again soon and my next destination will probably be to Okinawa.
Year 2022 and Japan hotels are still using key!!!! It is a nostalgic feeling for me since I was in Japan many years ago. Keys are a contradiction to the idea that Japan is very "technologically advanced". If you go to Koiwa hotel, the hotel key is a big and long wooden key holder (I am guessing they still have that if the hotel is still around.). One thing no good about the city area hotels, is that the windows cannot be opened. If you go to smaller hotels outside of the city areas, the windows can be opened. I love Japanese hotels: Everything is there!! /// Yeah, I was shocked when I was so thirsty and bought green tea from a vending machine. It was so bitter!!!///
Since you can use suica on this apple watch its really convenient in japan hahah maybe if i would live there i would also buy one 😃here it makes no sense havah

Hi Rion, would like to ask, in Japanese restaurant culture, when the waitress is going to place the plate of edamame onto my table can I refuse them politely? (So that I no need to pay the extra ¥300-500). Bcuz in Singapore we can do that. 😊
