French fan here. I am the kind of girl who cries listening to music, and yours is on another level for me. I literally can't stop listening to your songs but it is so painful at the same time. This won't mean much to many but it can, despite everything, get better even if takes time. I have health problems (that's still an ongoing battle) but I'm also coming out of an abusive relationship that took my life for 10 years, dealing with the ghosts of an incredibly abusive childhood... and somehow I'm still here, I'm standing - they won't define me and having moved recently I finally can breathe. To anyone struggling, you can and WILL make it; YOU matter, never give up, you are loved and if not by others I love you and am proud of the steps you have made ❤🫂

Thank you for sharing this.... speaks a story as big as the mountains of trauma responses I've been discovering, all the while learning to live with a newly diagnosed autoimmune condition... found this song and Lo Spirits music as this song released today, and tonight I seem to have discovered a missing link to a 22 year long trauma loop I'd forgotten about... everything is so much clearer now, but it makes my brain physically hurt, like untying a complex knot after it has already turned to mush from emotions... I needed to come across this message.

It's as if we lived together since childhood but never ran into each other during life... It gets better, you get to a point when you realise you will not get your closure from others to end your book, until you realise you can write your own ending and close that book and start a new one. I feel so bad, we found out last year my father passed away the previous year, because of these constant nightmares of my childhood, it is as if my monster that went bump in the night is gone, as if all the stress and anxiety that's been haunting me since childhood passed away with him. No more replaying his words and his actions. Now it is only me and I'm finally free and happy! Still struggling to get divorced for 4 years now but as soon as I'm free of him I just know it will be even better. Then I can finally breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe and start living. You will see as soon as you close that book your health gets better.

There's always songs you come across that you connect to, but damn this really hits home for me for the past 4 months... One moment I was perfectly healthy and went on a small vacation down the southern states for family xmas, then literally I was on a ventilator in a medical induced coma four days after my bf and I returned home. No clue what was happening, I had no recollection prior to the coma, but turned out I was on death's door and it resulted in shutting down my lungs for 13 days. I had endless dreams and nightmares I couldn't wake from and it felt like years gone by. Got PTSD for a time due to it and took awhile to finally get a clear mind. Relearning how to walk and when I was getting better it suddenly changed. I became so swollen and tfound out my kidneys was shutting down. Long story short I had over 50 pounds of fluid and got to the point I couldn't walk anymore and was practically paralyzed. the fluid was crushing my lungs to the point it was hard to breathe, inhale and exhale and there was no such thing as lying down, when I did I couldn't breathe. It took a long time, months in the hospital but my kidneys is actually getting better, went from 180 to 126, due to the loss of fluid and relearned to walk again, itll take a year to fully recover but I'm recovering nonetheless. This song truly connects to me in recent months.

This song came to me at the perfect time. I'm sitting here at my desk, writing on sticky notes, identifying my childhood trauma, and trying to heal myself. As soon as I get done writing, I see this song in my suggested songs. This song told me everything I needed to hear, and I realize that yes, i'm a victim of my childhood trauma, but its not who I am. We can all learn to grow past our trauma and be better versions of ourselves. If theres nobody in your corner believing in you, just know that i believe in you. We can get through all that we've faced in our lives by learning to breathe. Thank you Lo Spirit for dropping this amazing masterpiece of a song. It very well probably saved my life. You have no idea how much this song hit me, I've been shaking due to anxiety and ptsd since I was 9, and all I have ever wanted was to just keep breathing to fight past my demons. Hold on, there's always light after the rain. Listen to yourself and if you can start making the changes you need to make. Also helping : trying méditation and breathing exercices (as in the song haha), and if you feel like it and can, consult a therapist. I did it as an adult and I really thought "why have I not been sooner ?!?", this is the best thing and gift I've done to myself.

Lø, I am a new fan of you, from Asia, since your acoustic version of Hollow. I always loved your voice, and it seems like it won't change. This song popped up on my suggested the day that I overcame my fear of driving. At 28 years old I’ll finally be able to take my kids trick or treating without having to bum a ride. This song hits so hard. When i saw the meaning behind this song on facebook i really related. I was diagnosed with POTS a year ago this month. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last Tuesday officially after a year of my primary care doctor refusing to diagnose because he hates diagnosing patients with fibro. I was diagnosed with neuropathy as well several months ago. I also suffer from SEVERE anxiety and social anxiety disorder So i struggle to leave the house. this song fits me far far to well I'm always doing something and when i finely have some free time i have other sh!t to do and when i can finally sleep i end up missing important things i have to do and i just disappoint those around me constantly ik i put on a mask but I'm starting to get sick of it i just wanna be able to breathe freely for just a single day

Thank you for this. I've dealt with health problems and trauma for my entire life to the point where I was so depressed I didn't even realize how depressed I really was. But last week for the first time I can remember I feel like I can breathe. To anyone reading this with struggles of their own, just know that even though life is never perfect, it does get better. It takes time to heal, but will happen. I hope one day soon you may find peace with your struggles. ♥
