Welcome to NZ's laid back music scene. NZ music is a fusion of Soul, RnB, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Gospel or Rock wrapped in Reggae/Island rhythms. Glad to see you reacting to arguably one of our biggest bands (along with Six60) in NZ right now. L.A.B are an Extraordinary band , even better Live - Brad Kora (Drums/BV), Stu Kora (Keyboards/Guitar/BV), Miharo Gregory (Keyboards/BV), Ara Adams-Tamatea (Keyboards/Bass), Joel Shadbolt (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and can't be pigeon holed to one genre. Pronounced 'L - A - B' after the initials of 2 founding members (brothers Laughton and Brad from the iconic reggae roots band KORA made up of 4 brothers - Laughton, Brad, Stu and Francis), Stu replaced Laughton when he left. This is what Kiwi's have been vibing too for the past 7+ years. Proud Man is from their latest album L.A.B V which dropped in Dec 2021. Hi matey. Yes LAB are brilliant musicians. There lead singer Tim Shadbolt is also a music teacher. In one of there live concerts here in NZ they invited a 17yr old student up on stage to play a solo he was awesome. Tim taught him as a youngster. Keep the vibes coming.
