The lead singer Joel Shadbolt (Lead Guitar) was a Music Teachers this young Guitarist Michael Van Lieshout was one of his students and this was his first public appearance on stage. The other members of L.A.B are Brad Kora (Backing Vocals, Drums and Producer), Ara Adams-Tamatea (Bassist, Synthesizer and Playback Tech), Miharo Gregory (Backing Vocals and Keyboards), Stuart Kora (Backing Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar). L.A.B was formed in 2017 and have released 6 albums L.A.B.I 2017, L.A.B. II 2018, L.A.B. III 2019, L.A.B. IV 2020, L.A.B. V 2021, L.A.B In Dub 2022 Brad & Stuart are brothers who were apart of an iconic New Zealand Reggae roots family band with brothers Francis, Laughton, Stuart and Brad Kora formed Kora in 2002, with "token white dude" Dan McGruer.
