Dean Cain got the best line in all of Superman when he told Lois "Superman is what I can do. Clark is who I am." The best definition of the dual identities ever. Superman is the mask, Clark is the real person.
I felt the same way when I heard the 1st time in the episode where the timeline criminal used HG Wells time machine to kill superman as a baby and Lois found out who Clark was.
I still think it’s the other way around. Superman is who he is, Clark is who he aspires to be… Human, connected. That said, I still revisit the campy series two decades later nearly as often as I revisit Smallville. Should I blame the pandemic on watching Christopher Reeve’s Superman, Dean Cain’s Superman, and Tom Wellings Clark Kent not just once or twice, but half dozen times in the last year? As for L&C… the only thing I don’t care for is Lois’s father being a nut case doctor… and not a five star general. The character is much better as a general tbh. ;)
Try Brisco County Jr from the same time period. Love it. There were a lot of great shows back in the 1980s and 1990s. Movies too. Something went terribly wrong in the 21st century in the Entertainment Industry. Its partly social trends like the Fourth Turning, toxic feminism and critical race theory... it's just we aren't producing great writers, any more, who can write comedy, drama etc. We've given birth to a grouchy, mean generation of Old-young people ... a lot older than anyone I know, though I'm 72. It's like they jumped out their mothers' wombs already angry and discontented. There is a whole list of movies that are very entertaining and a lot of fun. This too will pass, I suppose. Try Firefly too ... great show. I don't really understand your generation. I'm so darn old, I suppose, but I love good science fiction/pulp style and Romantic fiction like this.
This scene is actually all of Clark’s desires coming true - she prefers Clark over Superman and Dan or anyone else! The only thing left is to tell her he’s Superman. You can imagine the relief and joy he must be feeling!! ❤️❤️❤️
I think its the next show... he starts to and keeps getting interrupted. Someone has learned he's superman from something Tempus wrote, etc etc. And then, when she finally realizes he IS Superman she spend several shows angry at him. Claims he lied to her. BUT its not a lie, it was a secret, a totally different thing than a lie. Very convoluted.

I miss this show. Nobody, NEVER will tell the story about Lois Lane and Clark Kent like that. It was wonderful....I watched all the episodes...This serie always will be the only good one about Superman....And Dean Cain....Oh my Goodness...hot, hot, hot....

Smallville was close… but not exactly the same either. My current problem is with all the Marvel stuff coming out this year, I keep trying to find time for L&C, Smallville and original movie adaptions, now there’s the new series, AND a potential animated Smallville? Maybe Dean Cain and Teri could push for an animated L&C season 5/6?
Yeah I agree. After she found out it wasn’t the same. She got more serious or mature, their was no excitement any more, and the show became a little boring.
Loved this show and love this show now.. I had finally bought the complete series on DVDs few months ago and I also watch it on Amazon prime.. Dean Cain is 🤩🔥.. Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher was my favorite Lois and Clark/Superman... wish this show never ended when it did..
I used to 'worship' this show when I was about 15 I think, I can remember my friend calling me one time when this show was on and I hung up on her cause I wanted to watch and dad yelled at me and told me I couldn't watch it for a week so I recorded it and that was the end, I recorded every episode since ha ha
I grew up with Dana Delaney and Erica Durance, before watching this series a few years ago I would’ve said you’re crazy. But when I put it on I thought to myself holy shit why haven’t I put this on sooner. Teri has risen to the very top. Now I couldn’t agree more.
I had no life when this show was on. every monday at 6.00pm. this is why i used to will traffic lights to go green so i would get home in time for this. yep, i had no life. love this show
i remember when i was in high school and "superstation" now "peachtree tv" use to show re-runs of lois and clark at like 6 am. i woke up that early just to watch that show. one morning i woke up to see my lois & clark and Dawson's freakin creek was showing. i went to my computer and e-mailed superstation in rage that i didn't appreciate them cutting off lois & clark. lol They e-mailed me back appoligizing and their reason for removing the show. i appreciated that, but i was still hella pissed of
Agreed. While they seem to be making Lois and Clark of "Smallville" begin to pair up it doesn't have the same feel of epicness that "Lois and Clark" had in relation to their relationship.

I remember catching this when I was in high school and LOVING it but them we moved and I couldn't get the right chanel. Lovely watching scenes from it again. WIll have to rent the whole things ome time and have an L & C fest!
Teri Hatcher would be nothing without Dean Cain. It was the relationship and chemistry between Dean and Teri that made their Clark/Lois duo so great. Understand that? It takes 2 to make chemistry, not just one.

I don't know about that one lol Tom Welling was a phenomenal Clark Kent and Erica Durance was a bad ass Lois Lane , that was the most alpha portrayal of Lois we have ever witnessed. Smallville will forever be ICONIC
At all, smallville was all about CLARK & LANA in 7 seasons damn 😂😂😂😂 Clark crying over Lana every single day at the end they start rushing the fake love between clark and Lois man it wasn't real compared to Teri and Dean. Tom and Erica kisses were so rare and when they kissed it wasn't even touching 🤦♀️their Romance was so poor
No way! Dean Cain & Teri Hatcher will always be the very best Clark Kent/ Lois Lane duo. They had the very best chemistry of any Clark & Lois. No one ever bought that bromance between Reeve/Kidder. Their relationship was never well developed and as romantic as the one between Dean & Teri. And you forget about that Welings/Erica bullshit relationship. Tom Wellings is a horrible actor, and he portrayed Superboy, never Superman.
That's ridiculous. Chris Reeve & Margot Kidder NEVER had anywhere the natural chemistry that Dean Cain & Teri Hatcher had. In the first place, Margot Kidder is fugly, and no one bought that Reeve was really the least bit in love with her ever. Chris Reeve & Margot Kidder had no more than 5 intimate scenes like this, and Dean Cain & Teri Hatcher had more than 500. Reeve & Hatcher were never a well matched duo like Cain & Hatcher.
