I've bought from this company before and thought I'd give this assembly a shot. Didn't work out like I thought and I've already replaced the motor motor mount. Save yourself the hassle and buy the mount with cross braces ahead of time or with your kit.

Hey, So what's you're honest opinion about these trucks, are they tough and reliable? Are tight turns possible without bindings? Looking into putting together an urban carver on a budget so I'm wondering how these trucks are compared to Trampa's channel trucks. Thanks.

So these trucks are actually pretty tough. Mostly because they seem a little over built and bulky. Tight turning isnt really possible with these. Even with bindings, and me being heavy, the turning isnt tight. My suggestion would be getting double kingpin trucks for an urban carver.

@Virtual Beard : Thank you for the reply. That really clarified a lot. What do you think make them too stiff, the springs? Don’t they have adjustable pre-load screws that compress the springs? My old boards had reverse kingpins and another had DKPs so I’m pretty familiar with those. I also had a Trampa MTB with Vertigo trucks which I sold. Now I wanted to put together a budget AT/Urban Carver using channel trucks. The L-Faster looks really good. It’s a shame that they have poor turn radius. Do you have them on a 35 degree board? They do turn poorly if the angles are less than that.

@@bartceljavier4209 The main factor would be the springs. These spring are STIFF. But also the adjustment screw only have 2mm of travel on the top only. So not much adjustment at all. They easily could be swapped with lighter springs as the bottom (on the axle) just has the spring cup bolted to it.

@@MiketheElectricExplorer : Thank you very much for the insight. I hope you ‘ll post a video once you finished that board.

@@bartceljavier4209 oh Its already up. There is a three part build series. Still has some kinks. But rides good enough for me.
