L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent Fragrance / Cologne Review 

STILL LOVE THIS IN 2021♥️🔥

Hundreds of fragrances have come by ever since L'Homme was released but in my opinion and better yet my wife's opinion nothing beats this juice for close encounters or to go on a date i own a large collection Niche and designer and this juice does something to me and my wife that the best word to describe it is magical, its so cozy and yet sophisticated it makes you feel beautiful and refined. Man i better stop, you get my point😏

I had a woman say "I wish you could teach my son how to wear cologne" with this. It was probably one the most interesting compliments I have ever got.

This was one of the first fragrances I bought after I started my modest collection last March. It took me awhile to adjust to. I initially thought it had a feminine vibe and was not sure if I liked it. Now, it is a favorite. I usually, wear it to work.

One of my favorites and its my wife's favorite! I will always have this ! I wish it projected a little better , but that is literally the only negative thing i could say . I love the ginger in here its done so well and unique! Yves saint Laurent is one of my favorite houses . Great for summer and spring.

I get excellent longevity, I sprayed 2 sprays behind each ear this morning at 11. 9 hours later I can still pick it up quite easily when moving my head around.

L'Homme is a versatile rock-star.

Smells so damn good. If you haven’t bought this already, this is a must have. Smells incredible and so refreshing and crisp. Unreal

I just got this about a week ago and even though I’ve only worn it once, it’s instant love, well balanced, not too fresh, not too heavy. Ok, off to go sniff it through the atomizer 👋🏾

This has been my daily work scent for the past 2+ years. I only wish it lasted longer, maybe an "intense" version would fill that void. Thanks for the review

Went to Dillard's today to compare this with la nuit. Keep in mind I'm a 20 year old haha. I don't know if it's just my skin or my preference, but this smelled a lot better and refreshing. If your a younger male, I suggest this over la nuit. I had a friend of mine come along to share her opinion too, and she liked this one better. La nuit is like bleu to me, it's not for an active male. It's more for an older gentleman. Both bleu and la nuit projected very poorly on me. The reason being is, they don't really put you in an energizing mood, they're more laid back scents to me. Personally, they're too mature for me too. My go to scent is Versace Eros. And younger women love that too. It's minty and refreshing. Don't buy this blindly, I strongly suggest you go try any cologne on before you buy it because they project differently on everyone. And they're expensive. Hope this helps out the younger crowd if they're deciding to buy this. It's a great scent, and you'll get a lot of compliments with it!

WOW what a high score!!! I think this is a very well done composition and I get HUGE longevity (24+ hrs) and good projection I consider it more of a work/office scent but I agree this has good versatility. As a side note dressing that way gives the reviews a more professional appearance. Of course not all frags deserve such clothing but in this case it only added to the good package of L'homme I would like to see your take of a top ten freshies now that dry season is coming to Costa Rica

Smells fantastic, but seems like it's been reformulated. YSL keeps messing up with their fragrances. It's sad that this is no longer a good performer as it used to be.

Great review Steven! This was one of my first two bottles I bought when I got into this hobby almost 4 years ago, and I still really enjoy it. I haven't worn it nearly as much as I should lately, I might have to change that.

I oversprayed it one time before work and I didn't choke anyone out, including myself. It's like it gets softer but still projects. Great scent, just great.

Great review Redolessence,I too really enjoy this fragrance but performance is not that good on me most wears.Have you tried Mont Blanc Presence???it is similar to YsL L'homme and performs much better on my skin.

I’ve been using my one and only cologne for years...Ralph Lauren Safari. After watching this video and other ones on YSL L’Homme, I picked some up! With out getting into all the details, this stuff is perfect for me. Very versatile!

Just got a bottle of this stuff along with the aftershave and deodorant and I can tell you this is great, strongly recommend it.

I bought this cologne based on the reviews online . My favorite colognes are ,Versace Pour homme ,Fierce and Burberry Brit. I was expecting a sweet smell from it and I wasn't wrong .Its a beautiful scent . I really like it . Reminds me of Versace Dreamer which I never liked ,but I like this one . I sprayed it today before school and I saw this girl in stairs which we didn't speak for a while ,when I went to 3rd floor she was waiting for me to ask some questions ,and we chatted for a while . Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe it was L'Homme effect :)

L'Homme is classic. It's my favourite.

YSL re-formalized this version it’s softer today and the box is a deep grey color now. I need this version which is the 2006 version I first bought it back in 2009

Alongside D&G The One, YSL L'homme is the sexiest, sophisticated and sensual fragrance I've smelled. Have you tried Carolina herrera chic for men? Unique blend of watermelon and cardamom.

Just bought this today and love it. This may sound crazy, but I think it'd be super sexy on a woman. It's the cedar and creaminess and...something else....maybe the tonka or vanilla. It's just luxurious and bright and wouldn't make a woman smell like she just got a shave at the barber; I'd just think it different and interesting.

I don't get apple from this- I get a lemony ginger sweet tonka musk. Just gorgeous.

Ok, ya, I've fallen back into a state of infatuation with this juice. But, despite your review, I don't get a lot of projection unless I soak in it, but when I do I get the apple/pear in the spices, and that kills me. I've reexamined one of my first bottles, thanks to your video, and I'm glad I did. Thanks again.

Hi Red! What fragrance is the best substitute for YSL L'homme? That is, the fragrance that performs absolutely better but has the same or similar notes. A fragrance that will be hard to differentiate from YSL L'homme.

Hi, I been watching your channel for quite some time. You absolutely know your stuff. Can you suggest some fragrances that give off a similar vibe to D&G The One, L'Homme, or Dior Homme? I like fragrances that smell like sophisticated, something a gentleman would wear. Not 1 Million or Acqua Di Gio or Spicebomb and stuff like that.

pleasant scent n easy to put on. i got complimentary every time i wear it. men and women like it.

I had my wife smell about 20 various samples from Sephora. I did not tell her what any of them were and this was her top pick.

I'm neutral about this one. It smells decent but I hate the basil note.

very versitale... that was actually my SS before i really got into fragrances. Really nice - great for someone to start journey with frags or as a pleasing, easy to wear signature scent. Not to much of a beast on my skin unfortunetaly - pretty weak actually in projection department. You can go hard on a trigger ^^ i sold my bottle (it was 3rd i got bored lil bit) but i feel as i might go back to this some time.

i'm thinking this will be my next purchase :) sounds really good for work :)

For more than 6 yrs now that I use this parfume with it's deodorant stick. Just can't go passed it!

it smells like businessman

What on earth have they done to this fragrance. I tried a sample recently and all I got was a light pepper, vetiver, and ginger smell, it hardy lasted on my skin . I got it when if first came out and it was great , now it's terrible , they've taken all the good note's out of it and the strength.

Is their a difference if it says spray vs not. The 6.7 seems to be more brown than the 3.3

I don't know where I've read the 'make-up bag' note, perhaps it was DHI? I don't know, but I get that in this fragrance. I'm not really a fan. It is a rather nice smell, I 'm smelling a sample of it right now but...I can't put my finger on where I've smelled this before...It has this clean - almost linen fresh scent but it also has this sort of sweet leathery smell that is (to me) headache inducing. I like it but I will pass. Perhaps I should try la nuit? -HP

The longevity isn't for me so i go for the king, La Nuit de L'homme and it also smells just a notch better than L'homme.

One of my all time fragrance.

When American people hear someone say names like Yves Saint Laurent, do you not hear the sound of it, or do you deliberately choose to say it wrongly?

Nice take, bro ;-) A nice work scent and going out to dinner. Not loud in any way. Don't get any similarities with La Nuit at all. I'd rate L'Homme 8/10, La NUIT 7.5/10. I hate L'Homme Libre because of the generic ginger in that one. Libre gets 5/10 rating. Cheers Claus
