Even better than Larry tbh and if you try to argue. You d** riding hard asf. Larry had his Time. While his brother has been the underrated/underdog for years. I have not seen a dancer flow the way he's flowing through these battles. I love it

lau won this event in dominant fashion but i think Le K especially deserves massive respect. The sheer amount of original concepts he puts out is crazy. I feel like Spider and Max lost in all aspects, but Le K definitely held his own with his creativity.

@@daytona-x7b Same thought I had here. Ain't no way you're going to top that. He embodied the music. My best Le K round so far watching him...Laurent already had like 3 rounds in the bag so it was just too late for Le K.

Agree. Laurent takes his time to build his moves while he’s slowly feeling the music. He‘s more vulnerable in the 1min short concept battles because he doesn’t have the time to do it but in long round battles I don’t really think anyone can beat him

@@paharnickrb Both Lau and Larry tell/dance their (individual) interpretation of what the song they are dancing to mean to them -' better still', what the song seemingly mean to the person who is singing that song. Each person interprets music, songs, etc. according to their life's experiences, etc. I could say much more - but, do not want to be too 'long-winded'. lol. However, hope you grasp some of what I am trying to relay.

@@kma997 He definitely can though, because paradox is a complete dancer in every aspect, as is Laurent it seems, or at least he's getting closer to perfecting every aspect of his dance and also evolving different aspects. Also Rochka. It would be really close but both Laurent and Paradox can win over each other.

@@kma997 I have to agree with endyoo, Paradox has been at his best the last year and he's currently one of the top dancers around. At SDF 2022 no one came close to him. And he's always been very dangerous, even going first in a battle. Him v Laurent at a BTM event would be a fascinating, unforgettable experience.

I keep telling people the next generation is not ready to dethrone the Twins. It’s just not possible yet. Rubix, Kuty, Junior Yudat, Le K… ain’t happening until they do some serious workshopping and evolution.

@@krisjones4051 Ie k is more of lumis/paradoxes generation than anything, and i think straight up rochka and paradox are at the level where they can consistently be a challenger/winner to the twins

@@iudexCervello 100%, I personally think they can beat Larry with maybe some difficulty (Depends on what style of battle they would be in.) Laurent not as much though.

LE K wasnt being himself until the last two rounds. Usually his more relaxed and smiling but before the last two he was too serious.

@@iudexCervello Maybe Paradox if he ever stepped outside of Summer HipHop Forever competitions lol, but I seriously doubt the other could do anything. Larry already packed up Lumi a few years ago.

No. He wasn't saving his energy. If I go by their body language, I think Le K actually kinda underestimated Laurent a lil seeing how he went about the first round but after seeing how Laurent bodied him he became less sure of his capability. You could sense the tension in his body while he was dancing through the second round. He became more focused on making sure his moves are all hits instead of being free. He almost became rigid as a result. I expected that seeing he had entered battle mode after round 2 when he realized Laurent didn't came to play seeing how he was bodied the second time. In the third round he thought ain't no way Laurent's gonna beat this. Yet Laurent gave him a better answer. It was at this point he felt well I might as well just get off since this is the last round, Laurent's winning this anyways. Plus Laurent actually made him more comfortable with the way he ended the third round. That chilled vibe Laurent brought, even as far as interacting with him through his rounds was what made Le K eventually free. Now notice that while Laurent first three rounds were free spirited, his last round wasn't exactly. Seeing how perfect Le K's round were, you could sense he sorta panicked a lil cuz how his he going to top that? Panic mode doesn't help dancers during battle as they tend to become frigid, less exploratory, and less creative because they try to pull off ready made moves that they know should work rather than just let things flow. So Laurent, though did well, lost the last round because he become calculative and aware of the comparative value of his movements in relation toe Le K's.

Versatility, musicality, originality, cohesiveness, beauty of movement, beauty of flow, incorporation with some ‘signatures’, upper and lower body strength, and ease of spin, plus there is always some storytelling/verse in the dance - to point out some of what I saw Lau bringing (or) brought to the table in his interpretation of his dance. [Just to point out a few of what I saw Lau doing].

Le K actually took it, he's just new to the scene so that's how it goes, same for his lost against Sam Yudat which was a bit more obvious. Laurent was good but when you watch him for a long time you realize he does a lot of the same thing just slightly different and he also got that charm in his movements because he 'give in' to the music,performance

@@elevatewithmettavijnana6170 Thank you for your input. I would argue one point though. That is that Laurent “doing the same things” he always does is null and void as to why he may have lost any singular round in this event. I say this because the judges are suppose to be judging his dance in that event in that particular set of rounds against his opponents not across time based on moves he’s done in the past events. I agree with everything else you said but it isn’t about whether or not you repeat moves but how well you utilize those moves within the music. i’d say throughout the entire event there was enough diversity in LAU’s rounds that they weren’t redundant.
