I absolutely love this tool for straightening my naturally curly hair. With any other straightener, my hair becomes wavy literally a few hours after straightening. Like even if I try curling my hair with a curling iron after straightening it with the steampod, the curls will not hold because of how well my hair was straightened. I’m having a lot of trouble with using it to curl my hair though. Like if I mess up a section and it straightens instead of curls it, then it will not curl on a second try. The style seriously stays!! And my hair has been growing much faster when I gave up my hair dryers and only really use my steampod. The only issue with the steampod I have is that it pulls out some of my hair and it might be because I’m using it wrong lol!
At first I also didn’t love it as much but now, it’s my go-to straightener! It’s been doing great things for my hair! It’s super healthy and shiny after I started using the steampod! I’m in love! 🥰
I love your video! You would think the steam would make the hair frizzy because when it’s hot and humid, my hair gets very frizzy. Do you have that issue? Do the curls last all day?
I’m in PA right now and it’s pretty cold here so my hair hasn’t been getting frizzy but in the summer my hair gets so frizzy that sometimes I just rather not bother to straighten it lol but I’ll keep you guys posted with whether or not this straightener is good with humidity 💕 I hope so! 🤞
I know steam is supposed to be less damaging than regular straighteners but I believe this uses heat and steam ( not just steam)..... do you feel that this is less damaging than the Ghd platinum plus or other straighteners on your hair?

It’s hard to choose one because they are both different 😩 the dyson airwrap is great for blowing out my hair but sometimes my hair needs a straightener when it’s humid outside so that my blowout can last longer so it’s always nice to have a good straightener as well! I guess if my hair wouldn’t get poofy I would choose just the dyson airwrap because I can style my hair with it as well but most of the time I end up adding a flat iron to straighten my roots and prevent my hair from getting frizzy by the end of the day 💕 hope this makes sense 🥰

Do the curls last as long as the ghd platinum plus?Damn my sister wanted this for Xmas, but in your old video you said it was better for straightening so I got the ghd instead. But I guess both are good. But I was thinking maybe with the steam it damages the hair less and keeps the moisture in 🤔 what do you think?
I love the GHD platinum plus as well! 🥰 the curls last long with both tools! The only major difference is that I notice more shine with the steampod but the GHD gives you tighter and bouncier curls! 🥰
Can you do a video comparing hairsprays? I need one that’s extremely flexible but provides a lot of hold. If anyone here in the comments has any suggestions I would love to know!!!
