Of course - the honor is all mine. I wanted to make this install for about six months before I produced this video but it was just too daunting a task for me at the time. Your video gave me the direction and confidence I needed to tackle this project head-on. This is an upgrade that I use EVERY DAY because most of my work with the L2501 is ground contact projects. Great video. I’ve been wanting to do this same thing to my L3901. I’ve got the landpride 3rd function kit and a backhoe circuit already plumbed so my hoses will be different but I really appreciate seeing the valve body installation part. On a side not, what seat is that? It looks different and higher up than mine.

Thanks! yeah - you're almost there with the hydraulics. I don't know the name of the seat.....I bought it off of eBay and I really like it. Primarily, because it has arm rests. Long straight lines brush-hoggin' or tilling was getting a little rough on my back and neck. This seat helps a lot. Thanks for watching and for the comment!!

Thanks for the video was great job. I am going factory but getting all 3 kits. L7334,L7364,L7354. Its a lot more at my dealer. $1050,$697,$107. I really like a clean setup and think I would be around the $1500 to do aftermarket but would have to mess around with everything to make work. Do you have info on your cylinders you bought still trying to figure that out.

I was planning on doing something similar on my B2650. Was considering plumbing off the 3rd function to a servo controlled multiplier/diverter. Thinking I would then be able to toggle the diverter and control both top and tilt with the 3rd function buttons. Do you see any reason this wouldn’t work? Nice, well laid out video. Thanks.

No - not off hand. Just keep in mind that there a lot more access to the hydraulic components on an economy "L" Series than a BX. Be prepared to work in tighter spaces. If you're OK with that I grantee you won't regret it! Thanks for watching and for the comment!!

Could you use this instead of a diverter valve or a third function valve. Have an extra set of hoses ti run a grapple ? Thank you.

Great video....ah.....keep it up ....ahh. which 3rd valve lit do you have for the front? I know the rear kit is ah ...listed...ah.

You're right - A few too many "ah's"......I can't help it. I get like that when the camera is on. anyhow, I bought the complete kit from Everything Attachments: www.everythingattachments.com/3rd-Function-Hydraulic-Kit-p/tra-3rd-funcl.htm The valve itself is a W. R. Long valve and I love it. I use it just about everyday! Thanks for watching and for the comment!!

Do you have a part number for that right fender handle? I would like one for mine.

Check with your local dealer - this is what I ordered for my L2501 and it fits most "L" series tractors: PN-T1060-29450, which was replaced by: PN-T1060-29470. I think the L handles are the same as all other Kubotas. When you get yours, you might think the holes don't line up. The studs off the handle are fairly long and are not parallel, they follow the fender radius and point toward each other slightly. To get mine to line up with the holes, I left the handle in the sun for an hour and then flexed it to get the studs in the holes and it fit perfectly seated against the fender. @@BotaTrac I tried looking both those numbers up on messicks site and either number is a good number.. not sure if that's the part number...
