In this episode, we start the process of L67 swapping our VY Calais.
However we come up with an idea that throws a bit of a spanner in the works. So we’ll see what happens with that!
Due to this idea, we don’t get to finish the L67 swap. But the best is yet to come!!

Man you sure do know what side is up when it comes to working on cars matey 👍😝 im Bundaberg Qld & own a 2004 VY Calais V6 & about to replace front & rear suspension ! The car is my everyday driving car & was my late fathers car , So ive decided to keep it & not part with the old mans car ! Im spending way way more than what market value is for a 2004 Vy but doing this car up to near new isn't about the money ! I wish i was blessed with knowledge like You 😊👍 i really enjoy your videos & im learning plenty ! Cheers from Bundaberg 🍺🕺

You’ll need to change the back housing on the alternator eco and l67 are different mount spots, done it with mine that’s how I know man

Yeah we took the easy way out mate, you’ll see in the next video. We didn’t have a housing that was the right one

Dude if the parts car is that clean why don't you just put all the stuff from the drift car into that

Several reasons. That’s a lot of work to change everything over, that’s the biggest reason. But mainly because the Calais is already all set up, holes are drilled in the body for the cage, etc etc. plus, kinda like drafting a Calais coz it’s different
