To be fair, they are about 25 years later then when they were actually playing punk rock and grunge when it was all new, between 1985-2001. I remember this song coming out in 1992 and it was pretty popular. This crowd is just too old to remember those hay days and when it was actually great music.
To all the people saying the crowd looks dead, you really need to hear the sound at Download to understand why. I wasn't there this year, but I can guarantee the sound was weedy, muddy and about 20 decibels too quiet. It's been this way ever since they moved the stage in the the mid noughties. For some reason* the organisers use this weedy, little PA that looks like it would be more at home in Wembley Arena, or Earls Court. Back in the day, bands at Donington would have used that PA as on-stage monitors! Nowadays apparently it's good enough to fill a field of 100,000 people. Anyway, it's hard to get excited at Download because the sound is so lame. *Small PA = More £££ left over for the promoters.
Why all my favorite punk bands went full on statist establishment anti punk rockers! “fuck Trump!” Oh boy your soooooo punk rock now that you said that! I mean you just joined the likes of every other moron from Taylor swift to Robert Deniro. What a disappointment.
We weren't. L7 was absolutely dead throughout the whole set and were almost cringey to watch (special shoutout to the "F*ck Trump" comment mid-song). I can quite honestly say that L7 was one of the worst bands I saw that weekend, only behind Boston Manor (literally just some idiot jumping and screaming to a clusterfuck of noise in the background) who I had to painfully watch while waiting for Avatar. It didn't help that L7 just couldn't cope with the vocals either, sure, they're getting on now, but so is Ozzy, in fact, he's probably a good 10 years older than them and abused the hell out of drugs and booze, most people barely understand him when he talks, but his vocal work isn't near as bad live. Zakk's tone and his obsession with pinch harmonics though? That's another story. Not to mention that L7 was playing before Asking Alexandria IIRC, so I suspect a lot of people were waiting and getting a good spot before they came on like I was when I was waiting for Avatar and Boston Manor was playing.
me encanta ésta canción, no soy tan fan de esta banda aunque si vi sus presentaciones en decadas pasadas. y en esta presentación desentona mucho la chica de cabello rojo en la guitarra, fuera de forma y con sobrepeso, no da un buen aspecto para una rockera comparandola con el tiempo del apogeo de la banda

Terrrible. OMG. Even my mother could sing better and play guitar in their 70s. Nobody needs that anymore. If you cant do the spirit of the 90s again, please leave it. There are much more better new bands like MAID OF ACE etc. Cmon.....
