You reviewing La Cabra is appointment viewing. I’m probably going to swing by their shop in NYC next month. Been once and got a Juan Pena Typica that tasted like bar peanuts.

Your description made me laugh out loud 🤣 Always felt the opposite about La Cabra reviews though. It's like, yup, nothing above a three, tame cup, on to the next one. Hopefully you enjoy your next experience with them more than this one (or your last one)

Thanks for the video. Based on my last 2 years purchases I have decided spend my money and time exploring new coffees and roasters 😅. Might be excellent coffee but not for me: Very developed, more in the palatable side than flavour... I think it was a bit different some years ago. Might be they are now better for espresso than brew methods? (My humble opinion)😮

It really has been such a stark change over the years and not entirely sure why. People in the coffee industry seem to *mostly* look upon them fondly, though I hear a lot of mixed reception when they try the coffee itself. Nonetheless, we'll keep revisiting periodically

BAKED for mass consumption! Not enough heat ever, then bake it long enough and dark enough to remove the cereal and or green legume flavour to make it "special" 😂

Rought assessment but hard to argue with it. For as nice as a Guillermo Lomas sidra should be, this was about as generic as it gets 😕

Wow so this sounds really mediocre. If I saw it on the shelf somewhere before this I'd have been all over it. Except for the chocolate

It sounds very nice, but the struggles with La Cabra continue. Hovering around mostly threes gives you nice consistency but little else outside of that unfortunately
