Hi Eventura, this was filmed at Kirby Hall in Northamptonshire. It is a part-ruined big country house with peacocks wandering around in the garden. We have recorded there twice and also find the 'scenery' dramatic. Best wishes, Roger
Now 27th of November in Anno 2022, I have seen & heard my deeply missed late Friend, the very sensitive Violinist & artist teacher of younger pupil's; Pro Violinist in Scottish Chamber Orchestra & Birmingham Symphony; Graduate of 🎼RAM/London & a truly 'royal' personage to his colleagues and beloved Family, Roger Stimson, in his brilliant & perfectly well 'under-played' swoon arrangement of this famed piece of Spanish Romance which is oft overdone, yet Roger w/longtime 'Cellist, Joanna, gets it 'right' and elegantly dressed for his role as suitor-shy playing truly beautifully pearled yet sprinkled w/diamond notes of allure, and Oh, how I wish 'our' Roger could read my praises which are offered not because of his earthly absence but in memory of a very rare Princely sort of fellow, aka, Brit bloke, who romanced all his audiences w/birth given charm plus true musical understanding & quiet {here!} Elan!! My on going sympathies to the Family Stimson, and to A., his beloved partner + dearest Daughter, Anna & family from Colleague/ pupil of Jascha Heifetz and privately w/Nathan Milstein, in London later after Heifetz!!
