Nowadays street homeless and are fentanyl addicts, and not capable of doing anything no matter how simple it is. Street encampments are open air drugs markets brewing all sorts of crime. Majority of them will die from fentanyl overdose, or drugs related violence. Second hand fentanyl smoke can easily kill you in no time. Street homeless gradually destroy everything around themselves. We will never reduce street homelessness without reducing the amount of fentanyl drug available on our streets. If they can afford, they smoke fentanyl up to 100 times a day. That's how all these fires are started. Homeless advocates are mentally stuck in Pathological Altruism, and all they do is enabling fentanyl addicts remain as close as possible to their fentanyl dealers.

@@sarbantz Very informative. Did not know this, also did not realize how bad fentanyl addiction is. I hear on the news about how alot of people are OD'ing I figure that's because it's being mixed with the wrong type of drug I.e coke or meth which is bad because of upper and downer(depressant) mix is always bad. What's worse in my opinion we understand this is an issue, but it's hard to resolve possibly due to limited resources. Or maybe we are ignoring it hoping it goes away on it's own. Whichever the case, this issues collateral damage is starting to harm the general public. Also very good insight Jab.

We took a family trip to LA about 2 years ago. And we decided to stop by Venice beach for the first time ever. Almost all of L.A smells like piss already so Venice also smelling like piss is gross the smell of the salty beach water can’t even cover it 🤢. There’s homeless people all along the streets right besides businesses and food vendors. To be honest I was grossed out I spent $30 on food I didn’t even end up eating because of how bad it smelled. There was some homeless acting crazy yelling shit out, and talking to themselves, some were even begging for money and talked shit for not having anything to spare. My experience was just unpleasant, I will not go there again. I hardly ever go to L.A. for the same reason that the whole city is full of crazy homeless people and the whole city smells like piss itself. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

How about we stop calling them "homeless." Homeless is people who can't afford housing. People with enough mental health issues refusing any sort of actual help are not plain homeless, it's a mental health crisis. Not everybody is homeless just because there's a lack of middle housing and that artificially drives up prices for what housing is available. If you don't see this as a mental health crisis and think this is just "Capitalism bad" (don't even get me started on how this is all the exact opposite of a free market), even if government actually spends taxes on housing, you won't get these people off the streets because they'd refuse to go into the housing project and will scratch and bite you for trying to get them to.

This is ridiculous. Why are you all putting up with this! You either get arm security or you protect your property by any means necessary. That’s the only way that you can resolve this problem because obviously you cannot get help from the police even though you pay taxes for this, they’re supposed to serve and protect, but they’re doing neither one. Good luck.

The only way to fix this homeless is the politician give them housing and money every month at tax payer money which is not a help. Get a U- haul truck load them up take them to a big farm and teach them and give housing. If they don't want to work, Throw them in jail . That's how they learn In life. Otherwise their not fixing the problem they just making them dependent. Bible says, Give them a fish , they come back tomorrow to beg but teach them how to fish to become a fisherman and never be hungry again.

ATTN: EVERYBODY EVERYWHERE Here's the answer. Build a huge lot out in the woods away from the cities. Have police enforcement, healthcare & job resources available for them. Make it free, free food & cots to sleep. Showers available too. Absolutely free to go but strict guidelines, if they don't want to stay they have to live in the woods. Problem solved.
