Thank you for your review on "La Lune", each person making videos or posting on forum allows this stone to return on the world market! I thank you Robert .
La Lune - finally another new European stone! very nice and accurate review! Nicolas Rollin is the only one person that give us new opportunities to try new kind of stones... Black Shadow, La Lune and many other kind of wonderful hybrid coticules. Bravo Nicolas! 😊🇮🇹
La Lune - great review brother, i have been looking at this Stone for a while, since i want to begin honning my own razors. Thanks for the oppertunity to win the Stone and thank you for taking the time to make this review.
These do awesome with a slurry from a really fine coticule too. I have a lpb bout I use on my and it will take any harshness out of it. I haven't recieved my new one but on my vintage it can get a little harsh if I over hone on it, even with oil.
That La Lune looks very interesting, I have been spending a lot of evenings with my jnat, I would love to try a different natural stone. Thank you for sharing
I've found that working on a La Lune, I got the best edge by maxing it out and then adding a few drops of dish soap and maxing it out again. The edge was fantastic! I would suggest going from the 8k or a more refined synthetic stone straight to the La Lune.
@@RobertOrtiz1015 baby oil on last session(maybe 40-60 strokes each side,no pressure but keep blade on hone) on my la lune, gave just as good or better than yellow thuringian shave! like cotton balls are takin off the hair on ma face! insane
Hey Robert! Thanks for sharing your open opinion on that project and the La Lune stones, youre personal evaluation is well appreciated and thanks for sharing you‘re video. I love to see that a early idea and wish of many people and me came true. Nicolas is doing an awesome job, as many others beeing part of the community do too….i added La Lune only for mentioning purpose and not to take part on the free give away
@@RobertOrtiz1015 - I wish Robert, but I'm not a very lucky person. I'm in need of a few more stones, so it would be great if I did win. Love your channel bro.
Honing experience is quite different! Ultimate result similar to a nice hard thuri... especially if you put some dish washing soap at the end and finish like that... its a capable stone
Ohh brother... being a natural stone... grit ratings are out of the picture. If i had to give it a rating i would say that it would be a finisher stone from 7-10k range depending on how you finish.
@@RobertOrtiz1015 just fyi, websites estimates 12-15k area, i own a 8x 2.5, for several months and would agree 12-15k area,, comfortable edge, which can be tuned mire sharp or smooth, usage dependent,, i use mine as finisher, and for touch ups, easy 16x glycerin water mix, before each shave, easy on razor, thuri like edge with hints of comfortable sharpness,,,( it is not a thuri, but can provide hints of thuri like,,,
As a 100% disabled person, I request these stones as a gift from you, I would be very grateful if you send them as a gift. Please, I would appreciate it if you could give a positive answer, thank you in advance. Best Regards, Abdullah Menevse ❤🙏🙏🙏❤
