Always love when people wave us into emergency scenes. We made it all the way across the city, but we wouldn't have made it those last few feet had you not been flailing. Thank you!
+SoCal CodeThree It's a Lorex 720p system. Came with a 1 terabyte DVR, which gives you a continuous backlog of about 5 days with all 8 cameras running... I think the newer models have even more memory. This one's about a year and half old and it's held up great. Love that it comes with a mobile app so you can view your security feeds on your phone even if you're away.
+gregfromtheoc Didn't even think to record anything... the fire was in the mobile home park I manage, so I was busy securing utilities and accounting for the neighbors. I was just about to start my own 1 1/2" line on the next door exposure when the first-in engine arrived. There are some pre-arrival shots from a bystander that made it on the local news, though: www.10news.com/news/fire-heavy-smoke-engulfs-la-mesa-building
FIrst: Thank you lady. After seeing the first truck go, the second one never would have thought to go the same way. Second: Officer if you see fire trucks coming up the road and your blocking the street, MOVE your car. Wow.
