I can't speak for the new version. I haven't got to the store to try a sample. I purchased 2ml of 2009 formula, to test it out and see if I want to invest in an original bottle. Just today, I had a female friend smell it on my neck; she lit up! I mean it, her eyes got huge, she smiled, blushed, she really was having a reaction to it. She could not stop raving. She text me later and said there must be pheromones in it or something (jokingly) because she was still thinking about how good I smelled. She called later and we laughed, she said, "I know, I was blushing." This fragrance genuinely did something for her, she was acting gitty and like flirty. I was blown-away. I will test the new version, but I am pretty sure I will be finding the best deal I can on an original bottle.
I just snagged a 100ml 2013 batch for only $50CAD, I was lucky enough to be the first one to message the seller, and was really happy i did. The seller didn’t even know about batch variations or anything so they were oblivious to what they had, I knew I wasn’t going to waste time asking for the batch code, cause the juice looked darker than normal and I had a feeling it was an old bottle. I love that whole hunting aspect when it comes to fragrances, you wait and check everyday, multiple times per day, and if your lucky enough, you will find them. Another interesting thing is that the item was sold so quickly that some people didn’t have any clue it was even up for sale, I messaged the seller within 3 hours of it being sold, so now i can take that info and use it again, if i see an item that has been live for a few hours, i still may stand a chance ro snag it. Perfume hunting is the new Pokémon lol.

I wanted to get you’re opinion on something I was thinking about regarding " hyped " fragrances, I was thinking about how when a fragrance becomes hyped, the prices obviously go up, but what kinda gets me is, when a fragrance gets hyped, and is priced insanely, does that not distort the expectations of the fragrance? Cause if something is hyped and costs allot in turn, would that not give you a false sense of the fragrance? For example Midnight In Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels; back in the day you could buy it for 30-40$, now its 150$ and up, that gives the fragrance a false illusion of what to expect, just because its hyped doesn’t mean its a quality juice, by its very nature, hyped fragrances can be anything, but just because the prices is high, that does not necessarily means its going to reflect the price. I bought myself 7 backup bottles of Pure Tonka awhile back because I feel in love with it and i wanted it to be my signature coffee fragrance for life. I bought my first 4 bottles for only 57.50$ CAD in 2019, now, it sells for 350$ CAD on eBay from a seller located in Toronto, Canada. I fear that someone will pay the steep price and be like " why the hell is this thing 350$? Doesn’t even smell nice ". I would like to hear your opinion on this matter. A high price in combination with scarcity makes the consumers expectation naturally go up and think: "this must be good beacuse it's sold out and high priced" Sure this does distort the market, and especially when there is no way to test a fragrance for free in a store it makes us more curious and the hype inflates even more. I’ve had the 2018 and 2019 version both smell good and gets compliments but are bad on the performance. 10 months ago I was surprised to have randomly bought a 2013 batch from a guy on offer up who doesn’t really know fragrances he just needed money and was selling old colognes he didn’t wear anymore. Now this bottle last over 8 hours on me and projects, the scent is on my clothes the next day. One million and Eros don’t even last as long on me which is weird but those too were reformulated.
That's awesome! 😄 Anything older then 2013 seems to have good performance. But I am glad the 2020 version was brought to the same good performance level again :)
Your fragrance looks like old tester and probably has some changes do the years or storage. I have a new 2009 and it is has a lots of cardamom and spices compare to the 2020 ,longevity is better and the smell is reacher. It has a similarity but looks like it doesn't have the same noats. If you want to compare them, find a new 2009/10 vintage bach you will get the magic
Smell is pretty much same. Performance is very different. Old version projects very well for hours. New version projects moderate for less than an hour then one has to put nose to application site to smell it. Corporate changes and reformulation have killed fragrances. I’m glad I stopped buying this stuff
Hi cesar, as far as I know yes, but naturally the next 2021 batch is comming for sure. You can check the batch code on the bottom of the bottle in the store to identify if they are still selling the 2020 oder 2021 batch already :)
Looks like you bought a fake. That doesn't remotely look like an original 2009. If you don't have the retail 2009 (or any of the 2010-2012), then your video is pointless.
I bought the vintage version from a local authorized distributor. It's just that the current formulation is so good it compares to the vintage one very well. That's the point of this video :)
@@captain-michael You definitely don't have an original 2009. The bottle has been refilled and it's so easy to tell with the colour. I have tried and own every single batch and the new formulation doesn't even come close to the original.
I've got two vintage bottle's 100ml 2009 batch , one with a box and the second bottle a tester, batch codes 9LAA and 9FAA Found them in a local store in Saudi Arabia for 120$ for two bottles 😂 (seller didn't know what he had), i think i was sooooo lucky , on my skin last +14 hour's !!!! , i have also 2018 batch that last +8 hours on my skin they are pretty close but the vintage is richer darker and more spicy
The vintage bottles are definitely beast mode. I have from 2009 all the way up to 2011 and a total of 18 bottles and I have to say my pre 2016 bottles are all projectors I love LNDH and even the newer batches like 2019 have a beautiful sweetness I just love all of them 😅
