She prob caused over $2 million in damage- medical bill for her and the officer & multiple vehicles, cost to tow/clear the street, etc. I hope they don’t use our hard earned tax money for this and I hope they bill her. It’s not fair that the rest of us work so hard, hardly affording home and food, but here goes our hard earned money being wasted for a person like this.

The cops didnt try stopping this person, they looked bored and allowed it to continue for a long time.

I'm EXTREMELY pro LEO, but that was nothing short of a pathetic display of police work. I know it's easier said than done, but in my opinion they had multiple opportunities to stop this nutcase but decided to "pull up" or slow down instead of pining the van into the wall or blocking her. The cops in the cars look like they never had any training with pit maneuvers or stopping vehicles. I'm strictly referring to the several times SHE slowed down but they did too, instead of getting in front of her or hitting the gas to drive her into the wall. She was a huge safety risk to the public and they almost looked like they were afraid to be too aggressive. Not a good look.

The cops were so incompetent. Literally backing up into each other on surface streets just because she threatened to reverse into them at 10 mph... Only once she got onto the 405 in busy traffic did they finally take initiative to perform the most reckless pit maneuver in history. The only cop who did a good job was the one who stopped traffic at the end.

I saw the chase this morning, the police had plenty of opportunities to end this from the start, but didn't... LAPD needs to look into their current policies and procedures when situations like this happen. Protect regular folks is no longer priority one, cops moved out of the vans way during this chase. Innocent folks going about their day got hit, imagine if it was you with your kids in the back seat, poor planning on LAPD.

THis is the worst chase I've seen in decades... she gives the tank driver in San Diego from the 80s a run for his money. Damn this is nuts, she tried to split through stopped cars going the other way. Completely nuts. The cops were all over the place, they didn't box her in... tried to pit her against a semi. It's clear the whole situation was chaotic. But glad the cops kept at it.

There was a Subaru driver that was in front of the Saturn but was smart and predicting and got out of the way. I can’t imagine what they were thinking seeing the suspect crash right where they were. Prayers to the innocent people who were involved
