A wild and aggressive police chase involving three grand theft auto suspects that ended in a Santa Clarita neighborhood left residents fearing for their safety Wednesday afternoon. MORE: abc7.com/los-angeles-police-c...
@@dominiquexo4772 yeah, it's not video games. I've played them my whole life as did most of the rest of the world. These cats just think this type of lifestyle is cool and so do their friends.. until they end up actually having to face the consequences.
It depends on who they are chasing sometimes.. Im sure they are not trying to start any new protests.. They are not really punishing these type of people, thats why they keep doing it..
They will still get blasted by BLM and Corey Bush for “scaring” these poor black kids with their badges! Then we will have to hear about how these boys are “good boys” from their mommas!
Incredible how these officers deal with this in a civilized manner, no traumatic or unethical violation. They keep there integrity under very threatening situations even when finally cuffing the baddies. No screaming etc or hitting or throwing and off to jail. That is self discipline. Incredible
They only keep integrity cause their on camera now cut it out. They would’ve shot and killed or beat the brakes off these boys had it not been televised…
I’m guessing they didn’t know about the helicopters and drive into that neighborhood thinking they could lose the officers chasing them on the ground. Which they would have if the helicopters wasn’t on them.
Police choppers have insane cameras, guarantee the copter was several miles away and still had a crisp image. That's why they didn't notice the chopper
The people in this neighborhood are smart, they left immediately and went inside their houses when they found out what was going on. If this would've happened in my neighborhood they would've pulled out lawn chairs and popcorn and watch the whole thing unfold from their front yards.
I grew up in Los Angeles. I am approaching retirement, and I am getting out of here! Furthermore, I choose to keep the memories of the great city I grew up in and not the city it has become. Great reporting, channel 7 as always.
I swear, it seems every time you turn around life gets scarier. What the heck is going on. To all Police Officers dealing with these crazy people, putting your lives on the line to keep the rest of us safe. Thank you. Prayers for your safety always..
What the heck is going on???? You do realize human beings have been committing crimes since the beginning of time. Just because you saw an HD clip of a car chase doesn't mean its a new thing 🤦🏾♂
@@KingdomMadeAnimals riiigggght… “If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, even with the wife of his neighbour, both the adulterer and adulteress must be put to death....”
As a southern California native, this kind of stuff happens all the time. It's so common that people don't even get phased by it anymore. 😶 It feels like we live in an action movie here at times. 🙁
@@deeboogievlogs7568 Bro I would’ve kept running and let them go on the chase that was more important to the cops plus no birds eye view 🤷🏾♂️💯they had a better chance
If the copter wasn't overhead tracking them, they would have easily completed their mission. Edit : For ppl arguing about the tracker. What does it matter if they were being tracked by a copter, drone or a jet fighter? Chill down Men¡
Can't outrun the eyes in the sky! Kudos to the helicopter pilot and law enforcement for bringing this chase to a peaceful end. I'm glad nobody got hurt!
Yeah they can, in case you decide to steal someone else's vehicle in the future and see a helicopter following you, aim for the downtown area right away. Helicopters aren't allowed too close to high rise buildings plus with all the people walking you can go from 5 wanted stars back to ZERO :)
The kid who got back in the vehicle is a sheep. All he did was follow the driver around after they bailed. He wasn't even smart enough to split up. He got back in because the other dude who bailed took off too fast and he was scared to run alone. That was his best opportunity to get away.
@@eduardonavarro1020 It is very hard to escape from the police nowadays with all the technology and helicopters and drones and all sorts of things so remind yourself
🤣🤣🤣 my husband refuses to allow our children to leave the house w slides on so it was the first thing I noticed! I was thinking he isn’t make it far in those slides
Looks like the first guy was escaping them by jumping out of a moving car and the other guy got out to chase him but got back in when he heard police closing in.
I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was hoping they would think of that I doubt it would of made a difference but I feel like they would of had a better chance
@@thewhomphlew your state is pathetic, these people should be sent to a gulag or get the death penalty, stops acting like dangerous criminals are victims.
The helicopter is equipped with motion detectors and thermal imaging camera that's why it's easy to spot every nook and corner they hide , the camera's do the thing while the operator watch the operating
Stealing an Escalade, running from the police and taking time to update their social media feed while on the run. Stupidity knows no bounds. The old rule applies, you run, you just get handcuffed tired...
@@remyarceneaux7032 if they would’ve all ran out from the start they probably would’ve got away like the first dude. once the chopper following you not getting away. especially if it’s on live news lol.
I love how the news crew is trying to emphasize how serious and dangerous it is but then they give the play-by-play at the same time like its a TV spectator sport, which it is! That's what this coverage is in LA. Its the local TV spectator sport, and the news stations know that its their bread and butter.
@@otx.drippy4258 not really they could have easily taken out a family they just didn't care and 6 months in isn't going to make them care only reenforce the we can do whatever untill they hit 3 strikes
The 3rd guy was smart. He got out and lost all heat. If 2nd guy stayed running, he would have got away. Ain't no getting away when your in the car. Who ever was driving that car tho, is a pro 😂👍🏻
@@hollow_9476 Depends on the chopper and the car. Some Helicopters have a top speed of only 120. If you have a Dodge Hellcat, you can possibly get away in a straightaway.
And they'll be out on the streets again in a week! This is LA at its finest! This is California at its finest nothing but scumbags who would take your life without even second guessing it!
@@michelleandrea1977 Why??? They would have run you over in a heartbeat just to avoid going to jail! They're not running for their lives because the cops are the bad guys! They're avoiding the consequences of their actions because they're criminals! Wake up and smell the coffee lady these two guys would rob and rape you in a heartbeat but maybe you're into that! You're definitely a Democrat💔
Criminals are aware of the law enforcement protocol to cease vehicle pursuits should the suspect engage in high speed or reckless driving in order to minimize risk to civilians.
@@joshuamatthews6368 he's trying and failing to be covertly racist. Either that or he's talking about that affluenza kid who ran away to Mexico instead of turn himself in for rape or whatever he had done.
Only to be released to do it again and murder others. The DA and those who let these animals loose are the same; ravenous beasts in sheep's clothing ready to devour anyone in litigation who finally puts an end to one or more of their pack.
@@steveaguinaga3821 - DA gascon will most likely charge all the police officers with reckless driving and order the County to pay the suspects $1M for false arrest / brutality.
Really? Because in California the risk of jail time is so slim, crime pays. That’s the cold hard fact that the liberals just don’t understand. At least not until it effects THEM Cheers
I wonder if the first guy got away. And when the remaining two jumped out, they should have separated. It would have been harder to follow the both of them.
Nah ... you all probably a bunch of kids commenting that. "A good driver" gtfo... you mean he didn't crash. A good driver doesn't put others in danger & drives like maniac. Besides many cars were moving out of the way. Drivers were alert and he 2 fast too stupid was lucky.
His best bet would have just to have gotten out he made it a million times worse. These thieves feel and entitlement to other peoples stuff. This dude is really driving it though looks like someone passed all the levels in GRAND THEFT AUTO
@@SoulforSale They got arrested so they could HAVE dinner - it's called Dash and Dine - they got released in time to hit the club. Did you see the black car with the flames on its hood at 1:21 ? Total GTA lol - actually I think that exact car is in Mafia 2
@QualityConst-Ben Missions, levels... They are about the same thing. That wasn't the point of OP's comment though. Glad they got arrested. Hopefully the third did too.
Well, the judge will probably give them a...$ 25 dlls fine.... oh wait a minute, they are 13ers then 25 cents, yes a quarter. If they don't have it, judge will spare
@@ToasterStud your 100% right and that’s exactly what I want the prosecutors to say went they go to trial. But that still doesn’t mean they should be admired for not hitting and hurt anyone else, next time I choose my words a little more carefully
Which happens. There was a string of deaths when these things started going live in L.A. a while back and, after some dude blew his head off live, the news stations said they were going to hold off on them. Didn't last. I guess they thought they were too compelling and jacked ratings.

They have zero respect for themselves, yet alone anyone else...as proven by their completely reckless driving. I'm sure CA justice was swift as each of them received loving and supportive hugs, $10,000 for their troubles and a key to the city.
