For everyone who ever thought that Janet was riding Michael's coattails, you're incredibly mistaken...THIS is riding Michael's coattails. Janet was always her own artist and never covered her brother(s) songs. This video also proves that just because you're a Jackson, doesn't mean you automatically have talent.
I think La Toya is highly UNDERRATED. She has a soild voice...I mean she is on the same vocal level as Janet...and Janet has had a very successful career considering her vocal abilities are highly normal. With the right management and direction La Toya could still make a decent career as a musical artist. She just needs the right song and production. I would love to see La Toya tour in any venue. She would draw a crowd just on her name alone. She is a true gay icon.
Out of her other 2 Sister s Rebbie and Janet haon the same voice level ad sister Janet ..common are u Serious??..Really??..Common now let's be real ..Her voice compared to Janet's is different.. style is totally different ..Janet's voice has more depth and range and a cool soft Soulful voice than latoya.. I love latoya, but out of her other 2 jackson sisters Rebbie and Janet have a bit more range and soul power in their singing style. So yea latoya s voice was always just regularly one tone and range key set in her trademark high pitched head voice which didn't take her much anywhere on a higher music skyrocket big career.. plus even her dance steps were just alright nothing eye popping or amazingly stood out on a extraordinary high breath taking level.. so she suffered the most by having both average mediocre singing and dancing skills.. it's usually a good talented pop artist that usually makes a name for themselves by either having one or the other good singing skills or dance skills..put together which is the ideal pop artists being gifted enough to inherent both talent s.. an example of having both would be Of course M.J himself.. and in most other cases u have the ones that make it big due to their look and extridunary outstanding amazing dance skills killing it in their performance yet they lack the ability to inherent the amazing super good singing voice.. and their dancing skills that are jaw dropping over compensate for their alright average singing voice.. and with latoya she lacks in both departments by not having a strong vocal voice with a average not so amazing dance steps ..and when u have those in both departments as a performer ur not going to get anywhere .. I mean the thing I can give her credit that nobody can take away from her is yes she does have the natural eye popping beauty and look to be an entertainer.. rather it be modeling or acting .. that I must say she had all along over the other 2 sister s
this is half true..latoya didn't get good producers but look...she hasn't got a very good voice..she sings..let's say ok..the dance..I haven't seen her dancing too much to say if she can do it or not..but if she would be more talnted she would make it like you said...janet has a special voice and her dance is amazing...even if I say this I like latoya
I hate when she's trying to copy Mike..that "auu" from the end of "wanna be staring someting" got on my nerves..poor latoya,I don't have anything bad to share about her,I like her..I just become irritated when I see her trying to do Mike's job

i like all the jacksons..... latoya does appear to be the least musical..along with rebbie, i dont just think its coz janet got good produces she has had the 2nd most sucess she can sing best and dance best out of the sisters, latoya isnt that good at either...she is famous coz she is a jackson sister not coz of her talent... janet would have been famous not just for her name, she has the talent
